• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vander Hall

My local HD dealer in Gettysburg sells them. 3 wheel car but have to follow motorcycle laws like the Slingshot. They look nice kind of like an old car.

They do look verrry nice, don't they?! :2thumbs:

Every time I see a pic of any one of those Vanderhall models, I immediately think something along the lines of, "Gee, doesn't that look GOOD!" followed very closely by "With those out there as competition, WHyTF would any ever even look at a Scorpion Slingshot!"

It's just a shame that over here in Aus, our esteemed Legislators would never let anything like a Vanderhall (or a Scorpion for that matter!) be registered for road use in this Country! :gaah:

They were at the Deadwood Rally this year and last. They had demo rides last year and everyone that took
One came back with a huge smile on their face.

I watched the video to the end. Looks like a fun ride. Waited to watch Jay and the owner exit the car. That was not shown. Probably a VERY awkward and embarrassing movement..... Jim

they are nice but really small on the inside. it has 2 seats but it will not seat 2 comfortably. I have a friend who sells them. The Slingshot is much more roomer, has ton more features like back up camera and they are cheaper.

Regs are state dependent. I had to look it up, according to sling's website: https://slingshot.polaris.com/en-us/license-requirements/
Apparently, even Vanderhall uses the term roadster a lot, which makes sense to me.

For WA: 3-wheel vehicle with a seating area, safety belts, and a steering wheel = no endorsement needed

For me, enjoy your ride! whatever it is, even a Unicorn! :ohyea:

When the wife and I went to the mountains in April of this year, we saw a guy on one at the dragon. He said it handled great. Got a chance to sat in it. Needed a little help getting out. For being 6'-2", 255, it was like getting into a bathtub that is covered half way. Oh, and I forgot to add that you will be doing that with a steering wheel in the way. For me, I simply do not fit well in them.

You probably wouldn’t fit well
In a Slingshot either. They teach you how to get out of both of them by basically pushing back and climbing up the seat. I think you can get a Vanderhall equipped with doors which would make it much easier.
