• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vapor Lock?

I am having trouble at the gas station. Lately when trying to fill up it takes forever however you move the pump it does not want to cooperate. Sometimes I can get only a few dollars in. Sometimes it seems to be the gas station, other times it fills right up.. Any suggestions?

Does New Jersey use those big rubber attachments, that prevent fuel vapors from escaping into the atmosphere? :dontknow:
(We don't have them up here, and I usually just hold the nozzle so that it is barely down within the fuel tank opening... no problem!)

Yes they do. In order to gas up correctly, as Bob mentions, you have to pull that rubber back. Otherwise, the pump won't run.

Wish I could find....

back when they sold (at every bike shop) a metal plate you placed on the nozzel to hold that rubber cover up so you could fill up you bike.. Probably ilegal now but they worked great. Here in CA filling up is like suffing an elephant trunk into a dixie cup....:roflblack:

Most stations I stop at in NJ the attendant starts the pump then hands you the nozzle and walks away. They don't want to deal with bikes. Which is fine by me. I have no problem pumping my own gas when I travel out of state.
