Tragedy

I have a 2 year old grandson and I cannot fathom losing him to an accident. I don't think I could ever recover so I can see, to a limited extent, how Jimmy will have to deal with this and that it won't be easy. If prayers will help then so be it, you have mine.

I agree with another poster.... thanks for asking us to pray for you. That right there means a lot to your healing process. And as you can see, MANY of us WILL pray.

My prayer is that God will wrap is arms of comfort as you ask 'why'. And there is no answer for that, that we can see. We're told that children are God's favorite- "Suffer the little children to come unto me." I'm confident that that Rocklin is resting in Jesus' comfortable arms. My wife is a family therapist and had the loving task to help several through this type of tragedy. She would tell you to allow the grieving to take all of its normal courses without trying to short cut any of it. It will not be easy. Do use your faith to buoy you in the low times.

I'll be praying for you, for Jimmy, for Rocklin's family.

Our hearts go out to you (Cindy), Jimmy and your whole family! I trust that God is with you during your time of need. And as others have said, even if it is difficult to believe during this time of your loss, trust in God....He will bring you through. We may not ever know, till we get to Heaven, why it happened, but God has His reasons. Just want you to know that C and I are praying for you all, and we are saddened to hear of your loss. We, too, have grandchildren and it would be so hard to bear it. But, God wants to bear our burdens. Do you remember the "Footprints in the Sand: poem?

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.​

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.​

It has probably been the longest 2 days of my life but we are getting through it and it has helped my healing process reading all of your posts. That is why I wanted to share my grief with you because you are such a wonderful group of people. I hope this goes through but here is a picture of my beloved Rocklin. Jesus has his hand and in the other he has a toy dirtbike, as he smiles down on all of us. God bless you guys and hug all of your little ones, I don't care how old they are...

My very deepest sympathy for the tragic loss of little Rocklin. There are just no words to express the incredible sadness that I felt for you and your family as I read your post. We lost our nephew at about the same age to a car accident and the pain of loosing a child can not be explained. I am truly sorry for your loss. All of you will remain in my thoughts and prayers. A prayer for you

Jimmy and I have been fortunate to have met some wonderful people in the Spyder community so I wanted to share this with all of those we've met and have rode with. Jimmy and I have had a terrible tragedy in our family. Our precious 2 year old grandson accidently drowned in their new pool Thursday evening. Jimmy and his son are the ones who found him. This has been so hard for us and we really need everyone's prayers to get us through this. Our baby Rocklin had so much spirit and life and his favorite loves were motorcycles and dirtbike racing. That is all the toys he ever wanted and he loved our bikes. Please especially say a prayer for Jimmy that he can get through this.

May god bless little Jimmy.And the ones left behind.
