• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Welcome, Remington

Hello Can Am brothers and sisters. I have a Ryker Rally 900. The reason I am on here is that I heard Ryker Ryders get info on here. I am wondering if I replace the spring 709006533 under my brake switch, will it help tighten the brake pedal? I have already replaced the brake switch. I have been in Limp Home mode for a month. Got a new mechanic to help me out. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Welcome aboard @Remington. While most can see any new posts in this 'Welcome' section, because it is largely used for welcoming and introductions etc, not all will read any posts added to the Welcome threads gathered here, so it's not all that likely you'll get too many people seeing &/or answering any support type questions like yours above by posting them in this section... :(

Your best bet to find an answer is to do some searching first, to see if you can find any answers that may already be on the Forum (there is a helluva lot of info here already) - the Search button is up toward the top Right of the page, just outboard of your username/profile button, the DM envelope, and the Notifications bell. I'd suggest trying a search on that part number &/or something like 'Ryker Brake pedal', only make sure you check the 'Search titles only' box, at least initially, or you'll probably get swamped in results that might not be discussing exactly what you're after, altho we do try to make sure that most thread titles briefly ask the question that's the reason for the thread. 😒 Beyond searching just on thread titles, you could narrow things a bit more by navigating to either the Ryker Rally or the Ryker Shop Talk forums first (remembering that all Rykers are basically the same, apart from your choice of the 600 or 900 motors, and the specific model/trim package that only means minor fender or programming differences, so almost any/all 'Ryker Shop Talk' applies to all of them), and then doing your search on thread titles, but also click on the word 'Everywhere' alongside the search text entry box in order to get the drop down list that allows you to select/limit your search a bit, and click on 'This forum' so that you'll only search the forum you're in and you shouldn't get quite so many Spyder results instead of just Ryker results, but that's probably not all that essential if you've included the word 'Ryker' in your search string. If you don't get too many results by searching just the titles, try unchecking that 'Search titles only' box, but that usually means you'll get pages/shed loads of results showing every individual post on the boards that happens to have any of the words in your entered search string to wade thru! 😖

If you cannot find anything helpful by searching first, then I'd suggest you navigate thru to the Ryker Shop Talk forum and start a new thread, making sure you briefly ask your question in the title, or at least try to tell us what you expect from the thread in the title, it helps us to help you; you're more likely to get results sooner rather than later; and you can always expand upon your brief question in the title once you're in the text field of the first post of the thread. And if you do that, make sure to check down the page a bit and look at the 'Similar threads' box below the Quick reply text box - often that 'Similar threads' box will bring up related &/or helpful threads that you may have missed in your earlier search, altho sometimes, it seems to just be a random selection... ;)

Over to you, and again, Welcome! (y)
