• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What a Great Day!

Today we had frost in the morning, but after lunch it was sunny and in the upper fifties. I couldn't stand it any more, so I decided to ride to my Physical Therapy appointment. My surgery was 37 days ago, and I was beginning to wonder if I would ever ride again. (It didn't seem to keep me from pre-ordering my RT-S, though. :D ) What a relief to ride again! I rode my BMW R1100RT as it is a bit easier on my leg than the Spyder. It was a bit tight, and I cramped some, but it was worth the effort. I am still grinning! After I rode to get gas and rode the long way home, I decided to get out the Spyder and try that, too.

After a PT session and a half hour ride on the Beemer, it was a bit tight and uncomfortable, but it was good to ride a Spyder again. Man, do I love these things!!! Thank you once again, BRP, for giving us such a wonderful toy. I could probably only ride the Spyder for a half hour or so at a time right now. I spent half that today and it was getting cramped and uncomfortable, but I was certainly able to get it done. I think I could do an hour or so pretty easily on my BMW, and may even try a ninety minute ride to a club meeting Saturday. As soon as the swelling goes down some more (or my Spyder RT-S comes in) I can do more. Great to be back in the saddle again. Sorry to go on and on but I just had to share the joy with someone. What a great day!!!

Scotty, it is great to see you smile (even in writing) Glad you are doing so well and can't wait til you are ready to really ride.

Yay!!!! Happy healing! And, we'll be praying for ya to be able to get back in the saddle again soon. :congrats:

It's always great to get back in the saddle!

You deserve it Scotty! (and the rest of us deserve it too!)

So glad your recovery and rehab has gone this quickly. Riding or ryding is good for the soul! Glad you had a great day. Hopefully this is the first of many great days this fall before winter arrives! :congrats:

Great for you pal... Just keep adding minutes with every passing day ...
Iron Butt and Iron Knees here u come !!!!

Woo Hoo!!! :ohyea:

I wish I'd been out there ryding, but I picked up some nasty bug in Gatlinburg and have been bed-ridden for the last 4 days. :(

Glad to hear you're getting better, fella. Heck, I get a smile on my face, just going out to the garage to climb on my Spider...:f_spider:

IMHO, psychotherapy is as important as physiotherapy, and you sure are a testament to that! Good on ya, and keep it up!

Cheers,
Rod.
