What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

Looks interesting, doesn't it?! ;)

But I do shudder to think of how much it's gonna cost!! :dontknow:

Should do well in Australia. Particularly suited to our 'third world' roads, both sealed and unsealed. (Apologies to third world countries offended by the comparison). Hope we see it here.

Edit: My dealership has advised that the Canyon will not be coming to Australia in the near future, if ever. Our market is too small to justify the cost of getting approval for sale. So sad.

I listened to the part about the 1330 engine about 5 times... I swear he said it had 150 HP??? ..... Mike

Cool! An Adventure type of 3-wheeler with the 1330cc engine size! Truly extremely customizable package for storage. For those that luv the biggest Ryker 900 Rally, they will have to get the Canyon. Gung Ho toward ALASKA, to Infinity and Beyond, with 10" ground clearance... but with a belt final drive!!

I think there was some extra protection mentioned. Otherwise, the after-market will help out?

I'm hearing 115 HP, but I could be wrong.

You can't say Can-Am aren't being pro-active with the new products, can you? As much as it looks a bit like an ammo box on wheels, I'd feel more comfortable on 3 wheels than 2 if I wanted to go on that big adventure ride. I can't wait to read some reviews on it.

Ya, the cherry on top would have been shaft drive!!:agree:

I think the Red Rock model goes for about $32k but pretty much comes fully equipped, it’s certainly caught my attention.

I wound up having to sell off my old STS after a lot of inactivity due to my being away from home so much (being an OTR Driver) as well as some financial decisions I had to make. I was thinking of getting an ADV 2-wheeler (like a BMW GS model or Harley’s Pan America) but this new Canyon model has me thinking of getting back into the 3-wheel game again. I had long wanted for a company to build a "dual sport" road legal trike or quad, but lost hope after a while. The Ryker seems nice but falls short for me.

I wonder how it will do on really muddy, slippery roads, (not rutty). Will it have enough traction? I do like the that you can customize the nanny, (Redrock model).

The thread title has the name spelled wrong, and the Canyon US website has these prices:

Canyon - $25,299
Canyon XT - $29,799
Canyon Redrock - $32,299

interesting, I'm looking forward to a demo day but how long before they show up at the dealership & what sort of wait period for accessories? The 3 dealerships within 100 miles (panhandle of Florida) are "no test rides" dealership's and they do not budge on the price. Maybe Can Am will be present at Thunderbeach in Panama City Beach.

The Canyon is somewhat appealing to me. I was hoping for a Spyder with more ground clearance. I like to do some exploring on unpaved roads but if they're anything but well graded I'll end up turning around. Traction on wet/mud/sand/gravel and hills is a problem. I don't know how much the new all terrain tires will help.
I like the new storage options on the Canyon. Wish Can-Am would make retrofits for previous F3s.

Also looks like for 2025 there is only one F3S model, now with a "sport silencer".

It's just a lifted and re-skinned Spyder. In my opinion, not a very attractive re-skin at that. I would much rather have seen a real update to the F3.

I second the idea of retrofits for the new tech to the older models. I'd like the new screen and control switches for my F3's.

Unless they have an all wheel drive model, won't be worth a crap on muddy or steep gravel roads, especially with out a rear rider for extra weigh on the rear tire.

Well, they keep making the older model F3 series that I have look better and better. I am not a fan of this new Canyon, but I was also not a fan of the F3T. Then I made the mistake of riding one and then I had to have it. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen with this model. So, am I correct in seeing that there is no frunk at all on this model?

BTW, did I miss it, or has no one mentioned the new electric 2-wheel motorcycle that they introduced last night? I thought there would be some discussion here about that.

Why, why, why go with belt drive? Oh, I get it now, it's like most of the 4 x 4 trucks on the road, strictly for eye candy not for real use.
