• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the best way of wearing glasses with a modular full face helmet?

It will depend on how tight your cheek pads fit, I can put my helmet on by opening the front wide open taking the straps in my hands and pull them apart to the side and slipping the helmet over my head! Some time when I take it off it will catch a bow, but for the most part it will slip off just a easy.

Helmet, then glasses.

I too wear a snug helmet and found the temple tips dig in over time if I wear them as normal. I wear a skull cap under the helmet and slide the glasses over the top of this, above my ears. The helmet is snug enough to keep them in place. Works great.

My temple tips are fairly straight, so this may not work with the hooked type.

Lots of answers so far.

Once the helmet is broken in, as in fits comfortably, you should be able to put the helmet on over the glasses with no resistance.

:chat:...What ever works best for you.

So for me I put on my helmet and then put on my Glasses.
After the ryde I do this. Remove my Glasses and then remove my helmet.
I HAVE BEEN wearing Glasses Forever. It is just the way of life. ......

:agree:

Modular helmet user since BMW came out in 1986. Always have put the helmet on with my glass on. Have not had a modular that I could not put on without glasses on. Wouldn’t have one that I had to take them off. That why I got away from a full face helmet.

I've been 400/20 uncorrected since my teens, with a 1.25 astigmatism in each eye. Wear glasses into and out of the shower each morning. With my HJC Symax or ISMax, and a HELMET LINER. I always wear wire frames, and leave them on while donning, removing the helmet. The liner prevents the helmet pads from dragging the temples down (and prevents helmet itch by permitting the hair to slide). If I forget and wear the plastic frames, they get uncomfortable in just a few miles. For greater than 100 miles or so, contacts.
