• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What kind of coolant to use

Hi, Just checked my coolant and it is a bit low. Since the dealers are so far from home is there an acceptable coolant that I can purchase from auto parts store to use. Maybe something that is same and won't void warranty. 2013 STS Cant believe how hot this gets. The heat comes up through the seat and when I went to get gas the cap was really hot. This heat issue is really bugging me. My dealer said they just run hot and not to be worried about it. I really dont think a small amount of coolant will make a diff. Maybe a cup low. Thanks

If you're willing to do a complete change; I'd switch over to Engine Ice... I ran it in my "686'd" 2004 Grizzly for years; it ran 10 degrees cooler during the hottest, low-speed, high-load conditions...

You might be surprised what low coolant will do. I Buy Prestone 50/50 premixed green in gallon jug that is safe for all engines at Autozone. It's not the cheapest stuff but compared to $8 a Qt for BRP stuff it works.

What coolant to use for spyder

Can I mix this Prestone 50/50 with what is already in there or do I need to drain and refill. Did not see any info on draining coolant in my owners book. Thanks

we have had great success with the enviro friendly, antifreeze from oriellys. 50/50 and it does mix with brp antifreeze.its in a tannish brown jug with a black and red lable.

FYI: Can Am off road and the spyder share the same coolant type. So there may be a dealer closer that sells atv's.

I bought it from a dealer that does not sell can am, but they carried the BRP premixed stuff.

:cus:! You've made me feel guilty about not checking my coolant more often..........................going out to do it now!
