• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP also 'recommends' you own multiple Spyders, a side by side and a couple of Skidoos as well. They are entitled to their biased opinion in their own favor.

I might agree or I might buy what I think is best for my needs, driving style and wallet.

What tire?
Good question!
But I have an even better one:
What factors in a tire's performance; are most important to YOU? nojoke

Interesting..!!

most vehicles out there do not have a tire designed for them specifically. Therefore you are free to use any available with similar specs. Most motorcycle shops sell a variety of brands and styles and will put whatever you like on your bike. I see where brp recommends the tire they had designed but wonder why they don't have a variety...:dontknow: a longer lasting touring tire, a combo sport tire and maybe a racy tire...

I was rather amused when reading the owners manual, and came across their little questionnair at the end of the "Safe Operating Instructions".

Question number 4: You should only replace the tires with those approved by BRP obtained from an authorized Can-Am dealer. True or False.

Of course the answer is "True". :roflblack:

The answer should be false. you should replace it with a quality one whose specs equal or exceed what oem is. as for install it should
be done by a dealer who not only has the right equipment including road force balancing but should also be done by those who are fully
capable of doing so including hand torquing and proper tire pressure.
