• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the difference between a 2015 RTS & 2022 RT Ltd?

I currently have a 2015 Spyder RTS. Looking to upgrade to a 2022 RT Limited. I have read that the seat and driving position are a bit different. Just wondering if anyone who has upgraded from the older model to the new one, can tell me exactly what the difference is, and if it is more comfortable like BRP Claims.
Better to get this info from an actual rider, not only what Brp claims.
Thanks.

I did test ride a 2022 RTL last April; the seat is a little lower with a little higher passenger seat. your lower back seems to get a little more support with the new seat. You get better power steering and floorboards. That was the big take away for my test ride, nice machine the only reason I did not buy was I had to wait until end of Aug to the first of Sept for the dealer to get a red RTL. The other RTL he had were sold. Wife now said wait a year or two what we have runs good.

I just traded my 2019 RTL on a 2022 Sea to Sky. I don't really notice the driver seat being any lower but the handlebars are slotted in the mounting bracket so there is some adjustability in the bar height without installing risers. The Sea to Sky comes with the Comfort seat so my comments relate to that seat and I do find it more comfortable with more back support and by adjusting the handlebars the bar end are at a better height than on the fixed bars for the older models. Not sorry I traded at all. The new models are just a more refined machine and it seems more stable than the prior models, but that may just be my imagination. Just my two cents worth.
