• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I hope everyone survived Black Friday, and that you still have enough money left to buy a farkle or two for the Spyder. ;)

Wow. 50% off and free shipping!

I don't even want to look at that sale. The temptation would be so great that I'd almost certainly buy something that neither I or the Spyder really needs. :D

Bummer..!!

Spent it on the road..:banghead: but then again the wallet is intact and the ryde was great. The evening was filled with videos of the wallmart shoppers and other mad rushes..:roflblack::roflblack:

I went house hunting with my BIL who just moved down here...there's no way in heck I'm going anywhere near a store on Black Friday! Nope. Nope, nope, nope.

I was surprised that the traffic wasn't as bad as we thought it would be near shopping centers, but I still wouldn't go out shopping on the day after Thanksgiving for anything!

Saw the ads from BRP on the clothing stuff also. I already have two of their "original" jackets one textile and one leather--purchased in 2008 and 2009. Both are still like new. The textile gets a wash before use next season though. I like new, but I have a rack full of other riding gear. Going to make do on the riding gear another year.

Didn't go shopping and bought nothing online. Did get out to have a couple beers, a bite to eat and watch some football.

Went online yesterday...
It was so crazy, that my computer crashed, and my wallet was stolen! :yikes:

Too much traffic on computer must be bad driver ran into you :yikes:
I heard the Misses only gives you $4 a week so wallet did not have much in it:roflblack:

I did not see the BRP ads, but I stayed a way from the Stores on Friday,( got some other things done) but I hit the stores on Sat. The malls were not to crowded and found some great deals @ JCPenny's. Deanna

My car's six-year-old battery conked out Wednesday late, so I got on WalMart's website to see what they had. Their stupid Black Friday programming made the regular features not even work. So I switched over to AutoZone, they had what I needed in stock, and installed it for me just after lunchtime on Thanksgiving Day. So then I took a nice quiet ride on deserted highways to charge it up real good, and stayed completely away from any kind of stores.

Black Friday shopping? Bah, Humbug! :clap:Nope, nope, nope, nope! To paraphrase a prior poster.

Black Friday = Online shopping !

Yep survived Black Friday by online shopping ! LOL can't handle the crowd as I get older.
Bought several knick-knack from Value Accesories.com and LEDs from TricLED.com to replace old ones.

that's for Spyder. For myself: macys.com :-)
oh, tomorrow is Cyber Monday! I'm sure more online crazy deals
