• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who's Wrapped Their Can-Am Ryker Bikes?

I am a die hard Steelers fan, and want to put "some yellow wrap" on my Can-Am Ryker Rally. Starting with adding front fenders & rear fender pieces, a upper storage cover. I'm going to do it myself, and going to see if I can find some videos of someone doing the job. Any members of this forum wrap their own bikes?:)

There are a number of videos on YouTube that can give you some guidance, but not exactly a how to type video. Do a search for "wrapping an can am ryker", that should give you a starting point.

AMR Racing makes the 'cadillac' of wraps. The pricing shows it too.

I like Ryker Wraps but they don't respond to FB or email requests for info.

Stay away from the too good to be true wraps. At the least make sure the material is 3M 1080 or 2080.

Thanks. I will keep that in mind, 3M 1080 or 2080. :2thumbs:

Agree with Knurlednut, Use a good foil, to wrap, make sure, you get a decent amount, cause it can go wrong easily, but trail and error, is half the fun. I wrapped several peaces of my F3s, and if done right, it looks awesome.
Also Avery has good wrapfoil, just google, there is a guy on youtube, who let's it look easy.

Well, the missus finally decided on a color for her Ryker, so we just pulled the trigger and ordered a full kit from Ryker Wraps

I like Ryker Wraps but they don't respond to FB or email requests for info.

I had a few questions, and just called the phone number on their website. Talked to Mike, who answered all of my questions easily and fully. He even gave a few pointers for when I do the install.

We ordered a standard 3M color, which they had in stock, so Mike said it should get shipped out by the end of the week. He did mention that all the wrapping supplier (3M, Avery Denison, and Oracal) are all sending out less product, to the tune of 40%, so it was good that we chose a color he had in stock. Not sure what the timing on a special color or custom print would be.

I'll be sure to post impressions/pictures once I get into it....

Later,
EV

If I may advise... I did few wraps and you can see many videos on my youtube channel @MartinTheVlogger
With RYKER's, it's bit harder, normal wraps fail, don't work well as you have plastics that have kind of "goosebumps" on them.
It makes it super hard to wrap.

If you are in United States, go to Limitless Motoring, they can make you custom wraps. If you are down here, go to my shop, I can do whatever...

Some ideas are here:
