I gave up on BRP bluetooth on my F3 other than listening to music from my phone. Since my wife wants to enjoy the ride out in the open without music, I really don't use the BRP bluetooth much. But here's my newest BT adventure:
I had been using a handlebar-mounted rechargeable camera with SD card to store video (no screen). I wanted to get a decent quality mounted camera. I ordered a fairly new model that has: 2K Front & Back cameras as well as other "nifty" features such as GPS, TPMS, speed, distance, trip miles, CarPlay, BT phone answering, and the other apple features enabled via carplay. I just installed it and am looking at a variety of features. For example:

- handlebar mounted 7" touchscreen
- wireless download of videos to phone
- real-time video viewing of both recorded video and live camera view of Ft & Bk via wireless WiFi
- indicators on video screen of danger collision possibility (would seem to be too late?)
- I think it has a security mode where the video wakes up if suspicious activity is suspected (not sure what this does to battery drain, probably a good thing if you want to watch the bike while dining inside a restaurant?)
- Apple (and Android) CarPlay apps and all this entails (maps GPS etc)
- Phone answering button (mounted on handlebar near handgrip)
- Here's my Bluetooth question/issue potential. If anyone has more bluetooth technical specification experience, maybe you can help out:
- It seems to matter with some devices the ordering of power up or connections?
- We have been using a wireless headset for several years and we enjoy being able to talk while riding. But will the BT to on this device interfere?
- The BT devices involved now could include: BRP (which I don't care about), phone, GPS via new screen/phone & verbal instructions, headset communications etc
- I'm hoping our headsets still function and won't be overridden by this other device. The headsets already had/have phone capability. But this carplay device does as well.
- Looking at all the potential BT interference and interactions makes my head spin ....

- Any advice / experience you can offer is appreciated?
