Interesting. Have you compared the readout with an actual gage reading at the tire? Curious as to the accuracy.

This version can be had for about $80 +/-.

Most other versions I find on the net are closer to $300.

I bet accuracy has a price!

RF TPMS

Had a set of RF TPMS on my last bike. They do monitor if your tire(s) are below the normal pressure range that you set. On my last bike (Goldwing) I was driving down the road last fall and the controller started to squeal alerting me to a loss in air pressure in the front tire. I pulled off the road into a parking lot and by the time I dismounted my front tire was completely flat.

There are some who dislike the screw on cap TPMS, but it worked for me and I intend to get another unit when I find the right price. Only problem with the cheap ones is the fact that the controller is not waterproof and tend to shatter when dropped. Ask me how I know.pps:

No, this was done as a requirement to run on the Salt Flats in Bonneville, UT.

I would switch to metal valve stems ,rear stem broke on daughters roadliner on the highway with weight of sensor:yikes:
