Would you pay full price on a '25 F3S this late in the year?

I'm looking at a '25 F3S, of course, still full price with a 5 year warranty. Should I wait for the '26 model or is this not crazy?

'26 don't come out until Feb/April next year. If you can wait... If you put a little time into searching you could find a sale NOW!! Most dealerships post on cycycletrader.com too. Or try iMotorsports, they ship.

Found great deal as late as May 2014 on new 2013 at the time. Can’t say was I “waiting“, but thankfully, it worked out in my favor unexpectedly.

I intentionally bought at the end of the MY because I knew I was going to keep the Spyder for a long time so I didn't care about depreciation and saved $6K.

Personally, I would wait at least until the 2026 model announcements in August. Just in case there was anything worth waiting for. And then Can-Am usually announces rebates for the previous model year, so you can get a better deal.

Waiting to see what the 2026 changes are makes sense.
But then you have to worry about whether the dealer will sell out of the model you want.

I would never pay full price for a vehicle of any type this late in the current model year. There will always be other deals somewhere around the country if you find that the newer 2026 is not to your liking.

If you can, I would wait or look at leftover 23's and 24's. My first RTL (2012) was purchased in June of 2012, the other 2, I waited until March-April to purchase a leftover RTL. My results are:
2012 RTL - 6/30/2012 - $26,499
2014 RTL - 3/17/2015 - $24,715
2022 RTL - 4/14/2023 - $26,497
I recommend waiting, I was able to get the same financing on my 2022, as is being currently offered (1.99%). At times BRP has offered 0% financing. As far as the 5 year warranty carrot being offered. Is it the BEST warranty, valid at all BRP dealers or is it a warranty valid only at your dealer. Usually, BRP provides a 2 yr BEST warranty and you can purchase an additional 3 years for around $700 for 3 years. To me waiting to save thousands off the list price and purchasing the extended BEST warranty is the way to go.
A few things about purchasing the extended BEST warranty: you do not have to purchase it from your dealer, 2 dealers that offer the best price are Imotorsports and Sierra Cycles, you do not have to purchase it at the time you purchase your trike, you can wait until the day before the original the original BEST warranty expires and not a day later, and it can be used at any BRP dealer. Finally, if you don't need to use the warranty, you're not out a ton of dollars.

Gentlemen, you all have it right, I haven't been in a hurry since I started looking, in fact, the chase has been the most fun I've had hunting down the "One" since the early 2000's. I'm going to hold off at least until I know more about the next year models. Thanks Guys, and seeing the temps here in South Texas are going to live at the 100 degrees mark for the next couple of months, I can wait a bit longer.

I talked to my dealer this afternoon, and he told me that he's going to a Can Am dealers show in Boston in a couple of weeks, and he said he would send me pics of the new 2026 models. Although he did say the new models are slow in getting to dealers, and they come out in early '26; so I will see if there are many changes and which model got the most changes.

Are you trying to save money or buy bells and whistles? The reason I ask that is if I am reading you right you have been shopping from 2000 and not pulled the trigger, if you think you're going to wear them down to give you a better deal or go to another dealer and price shop them, GOOD LUCK!! They all go to an island somewhere and drink umbrella drinks and have a club meeting and join a brotherhood where they all stick to their guns and hold their prices to the same level, you are wasting your time if you are going to beat the house, go to Vagas! 🙃 And as far as getting more toys on your 2026, all that's going to do is drive the price of the bike HIGHER and will make you pull your hair out more because they may not work as advertised!! Good luck on your task, have fun, I HATE buying new, hate the GAME!

Man! Did you get into it with your barber before you posted. :ROFLMAO: First off, not even my shopaholic Wife wouldn't spend 25 min's bargaining with some clown for anything, much less 25 years?!
I haven't been shopping for a bike since the early 2000's because of major injuries from a bike accident, and because I was shopping for the Sport model, I'm not in search of all the bells and whistles.
Though after a few months of looking everywhere within reason, my salesman found what I was looking for and texted me at 11:30 last night to come by Tuesday for a test drive.
So, my search might be over, will see! The bike is a 2022 F3S with under 700 miles driven by a little old lady to Sunday Bingo. 😉 I made that last part up.
I really got turned off by that huge display on the newer model F3's, just doesn't seem to fit the look, works for the RT's though.
Got a couple of pics, all black, even the frame, and it looks like new; owner bought it, and then just didn't drive it but a hand full of times.
Hoping this is the one, but I'm still in no hurry, I'm buying what I want the first time, to avoid that buyer remorse so many get when rushing in to buy something.

🙃 Glad you found your ride!! I hope it works out for you! There will be farkels in your future.

I know we should be responsible with our money and all, but there's nice fall riding weather just around the corner. Good luck tomorrow Donk, keep us posted.

There are three dealers near me who are connected, the dealers are Green Mount Harley Davidson, Big Saint Charles Motorsports, and Holzhauer Pro Motorsports.

Holzhauer has several different 2023-2025 models listed for $6-7.5K off right now. I'm not sure where you're at and what you're looking for, but I tried buying one last year from them to replace ours. I had our 2013 RT as a trade, but after all the paperwork was done, the end price was more than the list price on the new one. So I'm not sure if it will do you any good to deal with them or not.

I went to all three of these dealers, because I'm in the middle of the three. Green Mount sells Harley's and doesn't care about anything else; Big Saint Charles was very limited on stock; and Holzhauer seemed to be doing a weird price swap bait and switch thing, with a '$6500 discount' on a $30K item where the final price ends up at $32K after the trade in - it seems fishy to me. They would take my Spyder, but wouldn't show me what they were giving me for trade in value at all.

Sounds like they wanted a free trade in!🤯

Hopefully you did your homework and walked away from them. Some dealers have a salesperson who can make you believe that this is a real deal.
Any time you do a trade-in, you usually get very low values. That's just the way these things go. Better to sell something yourself.

This was probably pointed towards @Jim's_Spyder
But I did walk away from a great deal on a bike today. But after getting more info plus looking at the bike, I didn't even take it for a rest drive. It looked like the dealer stores their new bikes out side?! Paint on 2 different 2025 RTL's already looks years old, not even a shine on the paint! I couldn't get out of there quick enough, so we're back to where we started.

Ummmm... Many Spyders now have matte/denim paint.
