There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What a very touching story.
You know when my father passed we went to the VA for a grave marker and at first they told us that he could not have just past, we show him going down with a ship. Well the funeral director who was also a friend of our family, took out a calculator and told them that since that was so the VA and government owed my mother a very large sum of money. One week later we were told they would send the marker and that they were sorry for the mistake.
It seems that now a days more and more of our older military members are being forgotten or that congress just don't care for them. I think it is time to put a Veteran back in the center seat of our Great Nation. With that being said I have looked into it and found that I meet all the requirements to run for the seat in 2016 and things like this get my goat riled enough to do just that.

What a touching story, it is hard to type because everything is blurry right now!! It is hard to imagine the widow's feelings over all these decades and then to find out the whole story how the people of that town had so faithfully been remembering and honoring her husband. Thanks for finding and posting this story!!
