• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just off 690 West going toward Baldwinsville. Admission is free, just walk in & watch the commotion. There is a limited menu at the grill in the building.

Everyone is welcome. If you happen to go look me up Bob & Nan with the Icelandic Sheepdogs.

good luck bob!! if we were going to be up on the hill this weekend, we'd probably ride down for the day. unfortunately stuck in nj!! (i've been saying that for 33 years now!):roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Wow..!!

sounds great..:2thumbs: wish we were closer. Love those types of competitions. They are amazing dog and amazing trainers... enjoy and good luck..!!

Saturday looks good. Thanks. Are we allowed to bring a dog with us to watch?

Yes. Nobody should give you any trouble with you bringing your dog(s). All dogs must be on a lead at all times, no retractable leads. Have to be careful around the other dogs, some are feisty, shouldn't be a big deal. Saturday they will start with 26 inch dogs at 8:00 am and will work down to the 4 inch dogs. Because of running in 2 rings & the different classes there will be different height dogs running thru out the day. Usually if you go in the front door go past the bleachers & almost back to the back door take a left at the end of the ring & we will be to the right along the wall. Usually the only 2 Icelandic's there. Most people will be able to point you in our direction.

Hopefully we will see you there.

Bob,
When I read the title; it almost made me think that you were entering Wylie! :D
For THAT; I'd have come North to root for him!!

That would be interesting, as he would have to complete the course on his hands & knees. 19 obstacles in the pre-determined sequence in 72 seconds or less. All dog handlers should have to do it.:yikes::yikes::yikes:

We were there on Saturday from 10 A.M. to just after 11 A.M. We got to see our dog's vet run her dog. What I noticed, if I understand it correctly, were dogs in the same height class had a wide variation in speed. Some dogs zipped right through the course, other dogs lumbered their way through. A few times it appeared that a dog was slowed b/c the handler couldn't keep up. We left after an hour b/c we had plans to go paddle boating in Fairport NY. It was a nice ride on the Spyder.
