• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

you make the call

It is pretty tough being a cop these days. It is very clear the person had a pretty well rehearsed statement and conveniently had his phone/camera to record what transpired.

Wonder how it all played out?

Man admits that there is a reason for the police to be there yet he refuses to submit to the officers instructions, not smart.

don't know what started this or how it will end but many will blame the officer .

But until the officer has all persons contained he is not in charge of the situation and cannot assure the public safety or his safety.

If an officer pulled his weapon on me and said HIT THE DECK! I'd be making dust angels soooo fast, he'd loose sight of me. :roflblack:

Exactly my point.

But if the officer was out of line , after the situation was over i would contact his superiors or if called for an attorney

Danger

Count to three, after exact instructions. Then taze the idiot. Obstruction of justice, failure to obey a police officer, public nuisance.

Yikes..!!

The man clearly had an agenda...hope he gets his just rewards. So easy to obey the comands and save all the hassel....:banghead:

I normally stay out of these types of conversations...as I enjoy reading everyone's responses...but I think I will chime in on this one.

First...regardless of whether we are guilty or not...doesn't the law say you must obey an officer of the law? All this young person had to do was get down...yes, he might have been cuffed -- but at that moment the officers have to secure the area...and he/they were not secured in the least.

Now... a side thought...If I was the guy videoing...I, too, would have been EXTREMELY nervous...did you see the way the first officer was holding his weapon??? Oh my...I think he needs to go back to training...just saying...

:agree: The Police Officer needs some remedial training...
And the moron with the camera needs his guts stomped into dog treats! :gaah:

And the guy on the ground:  :2thumbs:
