• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You tube for mirror removal ???

Does anyone know of a YouTube I can watch for mirror removal? I'm kinda shy about trying it unless I can see it done...

I just hold the inside top of the mirror with one hand and apply upwards pressure to the outside until I hear one of the spring clips click off of the stud then a little more upwards pressure usually on the front and the other spring clip will release. Then just lift off... don't loose the wire into the black hole if you disconnect it!

I just kneel down as if I'm checking the front tire pressure... :opps:
When I stand up; my head can't seem to help but smack the mirror, and knock it loose! :gaah:
And I'm actually NOT joking as much as you think... They WILL come off that easy.

me too

I have searched . . . but if you have not done it before it's not easy. I am not the type of person to take something apart without knowing the outcome. I suppose if you have done it multiple times it's easy. I understand your concerns.
