• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Today is going to be the last day of August 2026. I got most of my summer projects done or near done.
Remember one day at time is the way it goes. So tomorrow is September 2026.

Currently mostly cloudy sky at 71°F.
No rain for today. We did get a few showers on Saturday afternoon. The usual amount of humidity followed later in day. Speaking about humidity, it is 92% this morning.

Most farmers are pleased with the quality of the corn and beans. Not sure about the total yields. 🤔 That's the way it goes.

Going to be a warmer week here (90s).
Today's high will be a 91°F day. That's
Not my favorite thing.
Low at 73°F with some clouds.

The flood damage is still waiting for some real good news from the State and Federal authorities. People are trying to sign up for the Help. Then the waiting time starts.

It's raining with flood advisory back home in the desert. The news last night said there were 20 people missing in the Grand Canyon area after several flash floods. I haven't seen an update today. Meanwhile, it's a beautiful sunny morning here on Fidalgo Island in Western Washington. The wind is calm and there is 83% humidity. The high today will be a very comfortable 70 degrees. Stay safe..... Jim
