Rain in Vermont Today and ????????????????????

We are getting heavy rain, and THUNDER now. The rain and thunder came up from the New York area :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.
It is Jan, 10, 2016 very unusual weather. Deanna

We had a lot of rain here last week too. I had to wear my Frog Togs every day while riding. It's cleared up now though and looks like we'll get back to our normally pleasant January weather. :dg2:

Pam,

Starting tomorrow we will have winter again! We usually have a week with temps in the single digits below zero during this month during the day/or night. We also have more snow, then we have now.

But only 2 more months until Spring! WOHOO!!!

It's January the 10th, you live in Vermont, you should have plenty of snow on the ground. I recall spending time at Killington about this time of year in my younger days skiing. I hate snow so I moved south to VA. Still get plenty even here. :banghead:

My memories, and all the photos I've ever seen of winter in Vermont have been beautifully white. It's been an odd weather year all around the country.

Pam, Yeh, your are right photos in the winter are beautiful in Vermont. I agree with you the weather has been odd all around the country end of last/and at the beginning of this year.

Got caught is the rain here in the lower Hudson Valley eariler while walkin the pooch with my wife. Wasnt raining when we left the house, but boy it it really come down for about 5 minutes. We had my hugh umbrella, but we still got soaked, lol!
The payoff was a great double rainbow.

Sorry to hear about the bad weather, we took a nice Ryde yesterday from Tampa to Yankeetown. Florida for lunch at the Izzac Walton lodge. In 60s all day.
