• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. To those that have or are using the VTR-350 Touring rear tire from Vee Rubber on their RT:

How does handling compare to the hard Kenda rear tire ?

How does tread life compare to the hard Kenda tire ?

How does ride compare to the hard Kenda tire ?

How does wet traction compare to the hard Kenda tire ?

Would you continue to use the Vee Rubber tires or would you go to something else ? (OEM or other)

Sorry to start another tire thread but, I really haven't been able to find the answers to these specific questions anywhere on this forum or any other place. Vee says they are the greatest thing that has ever happened to rear tires on the RT. Are they correct ?

Can't say...

Got one sitting in my garage but have yet to install it and if goes as good as my Kendas it will be 20,000 miles till I can tell you. I know there are others out there that can give you their views and reviews but I ryde different and will give mine in a bit.....

THINK ABOUT THIS

When they designed the V-tire guess what tire was used as the model...........A KENDA............So do you really expect a better tire ????????................Also give this a thought ....The KENDA is stamped " for Motorcycle use only ".......WHY ???....... Because if you put it on a car ...it will fail very soon, ..............I think I'll keep my Michelins....................JMHO.....Mike

How does handling compare to the hard Kenda rear tire ? same handling

How does tread life compare to the hard Kenda tire ? not sure as I has over 3 K on it now and still looks good. running at 30.5 PSI

How does ride compare to the hard Kenda tire ? a bit stiffer tire

How does wet traction compare to the hard Kenda tire ? not sure..haven't rode in rain yet just damp roads..seemed ok

Would you continue to use the Vee Rubber tires or would you go to something else ? (OEM or other) not sure yet..

I have the Vee Rubber rear tire. I have put a little over 1,000 miles on it, and so far I have no complaints about it. Yes, it may have been modeled after the Kenda, but that doesn't make it a Kenda. I got 15 K out of my OEM Kenda, which seems to be better than average. I'll have to wait and see how many miles I get out of the Vee.

OK, please stay with the questions I asked. I am not interested in car tires.

Thanks

The Spyder tires ARE car tires. Flat faced and car tire rim seal profile. The ones the come mounted on the bike are just too flimsy to meet DOT standards for use on automobiles.

Why would you want to replace one made in china junk tire with another one? Get some top tier tires and never look back. I do not want my life riding on anything that is labeled 'Made in China' Do you?
