• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bandana/Head wrap vs Ball Cap

I'm not sure if this is a fashion or a function question for the guys? I went for a short ride today which made me think of it. During the summer, do you wear a bandana or head wrap under your helmet or do you just throw on a ball cap if you break for lunch or make a stop? I go the ball cap route but I may try a head wrap this year.

Head wrap

I always wear a cool silk skull cap. This helps keep the helmet liner cleaner longer along with smelling better.

Good Luck

I have several skull caps and helmet liners that I rotate through under the helmet. When I stop for lunch or an extended break, those come off and the ball cap is put on

Ball Cap....

I have really short hair...Flat top... does lay flat a bit but go the ball cap route...

I carry a ball cap in the trunk but it doesn't really make me look any better when I put it on. It does make my ego think I'm cool though.:roflblack: :roflblack:

Different jobs

A helmet liner, do rag, or anything under the helmet is to keep the helmet cleaner, and the head more comfortable. Remove when helmet comes off to allow to dry. Hairdo, hats, combs, brushes, all for appearance. I get wild helmet hair, so I just go with it! My follically challenged friends are the ones with ball caps!!

 With that big old chrome dome on top of my noggin; I cover it up with a PitBull MotorSports Baseball cap!
(It's just the three of us under the helmet: me, myself, and I! :D)

I have no hair to mess up, so I usually wear nothing under the helmet, and no hat. But I do keep a hat handy in case I am going to be in the sun too long. Don't want the bald head to get sun burned.
I have thought about going with a helmet liner this coming season though since I tend to sweet a lot.

Heat out Helmet liner in the Summer. Balaclava in the winter and bal cap in the saddle bag for when the helmet comes off. I have just enough hair to look really bad when that helmet comes, and not enough hair to protect my nogan from sun burn. :banghead:

" Eye of the beholder"

Yul Brenner look here on purpose, hate the white halo look my dad and older brother had. Doo rag with hat in the trunk. Didn't care for the helmet head when I had hair.

Kaos
