• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great idea for our cars. Not sure I'd trust them on the Spyders from what others have said on a different thread. Do they come with a ballast or anything necessary for using LEDs in a non-LED application?

Also, can you provide a link to what you're talking about?

Thanks.

2015 RAV

Now you're making me curious about what I can get for our 2015 RAV4...
Are you sure it doesn't have them now ????? if not I'll give you the item# 112511190838 .... He has all the sizes they make , just look in your Owners manual or google it. Mine were H4, 9003, HB2 type and were made to screw in, but my bulb housing had a metal spring clip ..... they worked either way ..... You might have to scrap the back cover , I did but made another from a Kraft Parmesan cheese container .... I left the cover ON and used it as a vent .... I put a large screw type clamp to hold it on ....easy peasey ...............you will Loooooooooooooove them .... Mike

 I never imagined that they might already be in there; it's time to read the manual! :banghead: :opps:
Thanks!

OVER - BRIGHT

I was thinking of replacing only the high beam bulbs in my Nissan Titan, so as not to be too bright for on coming traffic.
.. The amount of LUMEN's ( brightness ) is not as important as the FOCUS ....... and to answer the comment about truckers / trucks ...... Unfortunately the Govt allows the truck designers to put the lights 18 inches or MORE above what cars are .... so even if properly focused they are still in your site line .......... MY friend has a Slingshot and He says it's un-driveable at NIGHT because He can't see because He sits so low even cars on LOW beams are blinding Him ..............Mike

Spyder LED head lights

I purchased mine for F3 from Lamonster Garage... not cheap but I trust they are probably best you can buy. After 6 months no problem. :) A word of caution a friend with F3 went cheap route through big Spyder dealership in Missouri.. they were cheap chinese trash with tiny cooling fans that crapped out in less than 3 months, overheated and LED's burned out. Buyer beware!

Wow....never would have thought of that, but it's so obvious when it is pointed out to you. Thanks Mike........not that I would have ANY chance of ever fitting in to a Slingshot.;)

My Nissan has low beam head lights and high beam head lights. They are already very good, that is why I'm going to only change the high beam. Xeon Depot has them on sale this month. We use their LEDs in our F3s.
