• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When is the Price of gas going to stop rising?

Electric cars will probably come back into vogue if fuel continues to stay high.
For sure, and once they do and the infrastructure can't support them and it has to be increased in size and quantity the scumsuckers will cry they need to increase price to support them. Problem being the ones that don't have electric vehicles either because they can't afford them of just don't want them will be forced to pay as well.

I'd say it goes both ways. They added $200.00 to my anual regestration fees for my e-Golf because I no longer pay gas tax. At least when I was paying gas tax, I got something for it. So, I'm paying gas tax now whether I get any or not.

Thats something a few years back was supposed to happen here in Fla. The tags for a Tesla is the same as a similar priced gas vehicle. The rub is Those of us with a regular fuel vehicle in my county pay .39 a gallon tax to use the roads, electric .0 cents. So they get to use the roads I'm paying for free. Now they want to build some roads over by Orlando that EV can charge while driving on. And guess how they are going to fund them??

Those European governments don’t care about the people.

That's a bold statement to make. Some European countries have high taxes in order to fund free & comprehensive social services for all, like healthcare, schooling etc. In their case. Some also goes into keeping the water out... remember most of the Netherlands is below sea level. It doesn't all just go into Govt. coffers.
