• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Directional turn signal indicators on my 2015 RT won't cancel on their own - any thoughts/fixes?

I have a 2015 RTS, and the directional turn signal indicators won’t cancel on their own. I tried WD40, it worked once or twice. Any thoughts? Any Quick fixes?

I do not think it is a switch issue if it is returning to the center position. Somewhere in the electrical magic a sensor tells the electronic brain, that you that finished the turn and you are driving straight again. Then the electronic brain says, thanks I will cancel the turn signal.

Although the switch is known to be problematic, there IS a setting for the steering offset that causes the signal to be cancelled. This is especially obvious on a bike where the signal cancels after turning one way, but doesn't cancel when turning the other way. You need BUDS to set the offset. It is possible that the system has "lost" this setting...

This is from the 2018 Service manual. The turn signals work with the can bus. The switch is part of the expensive left hand switch module, and difficult/expensive to change switch.
