There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That was interesting!! Sometimes Shawn surprises me when he goes off on people that don't hold the BRP line and use their parts but then likes things like that! I like his videos but wish he got into the nuts and bolts of his repairs more so you could see how he works threw some of his repairs. But in the long run he would be taking food out of his mouth if he did, so's to speak! This auto concept would be GREAT for the few that have problems with their left hand, or arm, heck I would love to try one out!! 
The cost of the kit would be nice to know.

If it's just a software thing, I don't know why BRP didn't implement it to begin with!

I don't know guy's that's really not that bad for what you get. Guys spend more than that to juice up their fuel maps to get more performance and yes there are folks on here with problems with their hands and arms that would benefit in having one, heck I would love to try one!!!

In some ways I couldn’t understand why with the advent of the new 1330 cc engine era, why they didn’t fit an automotive style automatic transmission with a paddle shift as well, like most modern cars?
At the time the 1330 was introduced other than perhaps Ferrari and Maserati there weren’t that many vehicles using the technology Can Am adopted.
Having said that, with the system they chose, why did they decide on a manual upshift and an automated downshift system instead of an automatic shifting system for both like the TricLED system?
I’m not saying I need a fully automatic system, just curious about why Can Am chose the system they did?
