• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Deals Gap at night

Did a few rydes the other night thru the gap. The HID lights and fogs did a great job of lighting up the road ahead of me. Gotta add a thanks to ESI for the dayrunners and daypucks. They put a good amount of light on the road in front of the Spyder to keep me from hitting potholes and an occasional groundhog. Got to the overlook and 2 guys on sportbikes came up to see what was behind them on the roads. They couldn't make out the light pattern from a distance, but it did get thier attention.
To anyone that has not done the Dragon at night, it is a whole new adventure. :-) :-)

We got a guy on my Goldwing board (Yellow_wolf) that did an Ironbutt on the Dragon, 1000 miles in 24 hours just on the Dragon (106 runs up and down). :yikes: nojoke

I met him years ago at the gap. He followed me thru when I was on the Busa and then I followed him. He had a great video setup and would burn you a disk on the spot. Haven't seen him in over 2 years though.

Dave,

I just checked ESI and according to their web site the daypucks are only for the RS, did you have to modify them?

Just a little bit. They fit nicely and really throw out the light down low to light the road. I will OK for pics and the thread I posted when installing them.
