There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. I have to get a doctors note and wire up a few things on the spyder,

Guys that race in budds, which is part of the dreaded AMA... said that they will require a steering dampener which will look hilarious on a spyder but its what I got to do to get a world record.

Doc lets do it, its on August 28 on, so I will miss the motogp in Indy, but I would rather do than watch.

Anyone else want to go with as a doc/seth pit crew? its pretty cool out there if you have not gone, Jim?

You have to reply by the June 10th, I have a # here to call 530 272 4310, push 0 and ask for Leanne or Delvean, tom santa claus anderson hooked me up with this info.

I would not run the flats myself but may ride out as support if schedule allows. My question is would I need to register since I would only be there as a support?

no I got that part, I signed up its going to be quite a bit, 700something to register,

any sponsors out there?

Wow, how neat that would be.

I thinks this is a dynamite thing to do and am excited as all get out for you.
Makes me think of two other things as well.
first....
Watch the movie, "The World's Fastest Indian."
And second, the last bike I had was a 2005 Kaw Vulcan 2000.
The 2004 model year of that bike which was "almost completely stock" held a land speed record on the Salt Flats in 2004. I believe 146 mph but don't hold me to that.
The speed of my 05 Vulcan blows away this Drifter that's for sure. nojoke
No way I can make it this year but I am eagerly awaiting the next bit of news. Please keep us posted! :2thumbs:

Seth and Doc, I might actually be able to join you. Do you mean that I have to call by June 10 just to be on the pit crew? I was hoping to come out there in September, anyway so August ain't too bad. I'll probably ride my Spyder out from Ohio. How hard will it be to find a room in Wendover?

if you pay for the pit passes ahead of time it is less, I think it said $40 to be on a pit crew if you paid there, I got a spot with tom santa claus anderson who is a great guy and helps run the whole thing.

got me a deal on hotel rooms too.

OK it looks I can make it out there from Sept 27 thru Aug 1. I won't run but I can crew for you. Right now I am in a AT&T NO SERVICE area. I do have internet service. Is there a way I can sign up for pit crew online? See you at Maggie Valley.

:congrats: Seth and good luck. But if your Spyder would get destroyed by mine in a race, how would it be a world record ??? :joke: Just remember I'm running a 02 mod that was originally on your machine. :roflblack:
