Its only on the trailer though . I find the trunk release works way better on my RT then it did on my RS .

It's a number 155 and the only place I found it easily was at an ACE Hardware. I have a GS; so, I'm not sure what works on an RT.

ACE is the place of the helpful...

This must be the easiest and stoopidest mod in Spyder history.

AND the best part was I found it here!!

FRUNK SPRING

Easiest MOD to do...any auto parts store...get a 1/2 in.x 2in. spring...get a 1 in. piece of clear tubing...slide tubing on first....slide spring over tubing....tubing holds spring in place...your done....Mike........:clap:.....:thumbup:......................................this only works on the rs / gs frunk

I did this mod to my GS because the frunk didn't 'pop' open when turning the key, but now that I have an RT-S, the frunk pops open without the need for a spring. Are others not this fortunate? Is my frunk an anomaly?

There's no pin on the RT.

You just need to adjust your latch.
