• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Light Rings, TricLED?

I need some help, folks. I really like the looks of the bikes that have the LED rings around the head light and running lights. Spydergirl's look great! The only ones that I can find are on Tricled's website, but they are for off-road models of Can Am vehicles. Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction? :banghead:

Thanks,

Kevin

Never mind, I did find them in TricLED's site. Apparently they don't make them for an RT, only in RS and other sport models. So, now it the same question, only revised. Does anyone make these 'Angel Eyz' ring lights for an RT/S?

I've looked Kev and can't find any.

Thanks Phil, I just finished talking to Reggy and he said that you'd have to open the light housing, and many don't want to do that and that he doesn't blame them. I've got a ton of other options swimming in my head right now. Just need to get them to gel together. You did mention lever locks for my wiring projects. They had several different types on Tric's site anywhere from 2 wire up to 5. I know I'm going to be doing some biz with them. Reggy was as fast to reply as Will was from GloRyders.

Here is a site that carrys Angel Eye lights. I don't know if they have one that fits the RT. I found one that looks like it will fit the GS in RGB but I am waiting to get the cover first to make sure it fits before buying the whole light package.

Thanks for the site, JJW. I went there, and I'm sure that those will fit, but the ones from TricLED will fit too. The problem is, with an RTS you have to break the clear plastic seal in order to install them. Those are sealed to keep out condensation, just like changing a bulb in a truck or car. I've got enough in the way of mods left to do before I would even think of doing that, now that I know what it takes. Appreciate the time to check for me.

Thanks

Hey Jeff,
Is this the place where you got your red led brake lights on the back splash and the white lights up front???

I have the GS and did not know how they could be installed on the RT. I saw that they showed them on several other types of bikes and cars and thought it would be the same. If you do get a set installed please post some photos and a "How to".

Sure, you can get lights and stuff from pep boys or autozone or whatever.but I really recommend getting lights from Reggy. Their customer service is top notch, and you'll have a lot more to choose from.
