• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

and now a word from our sponsors...

On august 4th, while at my dealer to pick up my 2009 rg, i couldn't find a reason NOT to upgrade to the 2012 pearl white rt limited that was sitting out front...so i did! i was planning on going to lamont's barbeque, but needed just a couple of tweeks....so i contacted john, at seal floorboards, and he rushed me a pair of deluxe floorboards. first of all, i was able to install them myself, secondly, they made my ride so very much better...almost perfect. please, if you are at all considering floorboards for your spyder, give john a call...he is a genious!!! and an all around nice guy.

I also needed larger grips, what to do? my dealer told me putting larger grips on, most likely would make the heated grips non-functional. hmmmm... then while perusing the home page on spyderlovers, i saw an advertisement for grip buddies. it is just a neoprene wrap...with guarantee that heat from factory grip would come through....wow! such a simple concept with such great results.

the moral, please support the sponsors of our sight...i have done so on several occasions, and not only have the products been beyond satisfactory, these are genuinely nice people....

by the way, took the new spyder 1800 miles on a trip up the mississippi river....i am very happy with my upgrade, fell in love with the rt, and vowed i would never ride anything else....:yes::yes:

So...did you go to the BBQ? If so, why didn't you say "hi"?...or is that just a
"Joe's Gizzard City" thing?! ;)

Plus...we could have ridden together...if you could keep up on an RT! :roflblack:

(RT folks...they really are great machines...I just can't afford the switch)

chickened out

no, i didn't go. had plans to ride with a friend down the blueridge parkway, weather looked bad, changed plans....sorry i was such a coward:banghead:

No worries; no apologies. I've ridden thousands of miles in the rain, but everyone has to ride their own ride.

Only ride in your comfort zone...I'm crazy, but not as crazy as Firefly or WackyDan!!! :yikes:
