• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does BRP Sponsor a Spyder Owners Magazine?

No dedicated magazines for the :spyder2: at this time. Both Cycle and Rider have published reveiws on the :ani29: over the years.

IMHO
Given the realities of publishing a "real" magazine I doubt if the 40K or so owners could support such an endeavor.
I think the days of single purpose pubs like The Ford Times has gone.

BRP does have a really good website with Blogs from the Spyder Ambassadors (lone of whom is our own Lamonster) though.

I was wondering with the relative short history of this vehicle. I have in the past been a member of BMW MOA and throughly enjoyed their magazine. Currently I have a subscription with "Wing World", It's better than nothing. I was hoping you would inform me that I was missing out on a woncderful magazine. Oh darn! Thanks for good intentions. Jim

Ambassador FaranH also posted this link http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...ine-Spyder-Magazine&highlight=online+magazine with the New BRP-Wow Magazine:read:

To me Spyderlovers.com shows up as my magazine/newspaper.
:read: With so many people contributing interesting things, I am constantly checking the "Whats New?" tab at the top of this page, or the "Home, Media and Live Chat" page, oh and lets not forget the "advanced search" engine. My favorite to learn, discover and enjoy when I am not riding.

Pick up any magazine and 95% of it is advertisements for cars, trucks, blue pills and countless other things. I Can't believe people still waste their money on those things. :dontknow:

My Doctor's office even discontinued magazines at his office and offers WIFI instead. Magazines and newspapers won't be around much longer.

Hope those bike magazines hold on for a few more years so I don't lose out on the subscriptions that I've paid for LOL.

Yeah, I still like to hold a magazine or newspaper in my hands. Guess I'm just old-fashioned. Newsweek just published its last print edition last week & I have 3 months to go. My Cycle World still comes in the mail.

BRP did publish a WOW Magazine it was online See :-

http://www.brp-wow.com

This was in Oct 2012 not sure if they have done or will do another

I like many use SpyderLovers to keep me Well informed, Updated and Entertained more than any Magazine could do because the news is not only up to date but sometimes ahead of it esp when it came to the announcement ref the New Spyder ST
