• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The dealer called and said that my Yellow:spyder:SE5 will be in late Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday to assemble.

Pick it up Friday Morning :2thumbs:. The dealer is 94mi away, which should make for a nice intro ride. Though the temps are in the mid 50's so I'll have to bundle up.

And on a side note I finally saw the other Spyder in town (Cape Girardeau MO), but he was heading the other way so didn't get a chance to say hi.

:congrats:

Not to rub it in but we are supposed to be near 70 for the rest of the week here in Michigan. :doorag:

It's been very warm here, up untill this weekend coming up. Though if you don't mind riding down to around 35F, (morning commute), I'll be riding most of the winter minus about 2 weeks typically in late Jan, early Feb.

So go ahead and rub it in....enjoy it while you can. I'll be sure and reopen this thread in late December.....what's that they say about Michigan? There are only two seasons, Winter and Road Repair.;)

:congrats::2thumbs: enjoy. Hey bjt, if I remember MI roads, they're ALL potholes. I've been in IN almost 3 years, have only found 3 unpaved roads, and the potholes here aren't big enough to patch in MI.

:congrats: I've ridden my yellow Spyder to Cape a couple of times now. (Last Saturday last time to the BMW Grassroots open house.) BTW, they had a silver/black one as a trade-in last weekend. Hope to see you on the road soon 'cause I know you'll be riding it every chance you get due to the fun factor.

I wonder if that's the one I saw. A silver one is supposed to be parked out at the other end of town while this one was on his way into a subdivision at this end of town.
Maybe there's three in town or maybe the one was turned in by the first rider.......

See how much wholesale speculation you can get from just a modicum of fact :D
