• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 Spyder Reviews

That silver RT with the dark maroon seat has Rattigan_Roger written all over it.

You got that right, RR. I'm really impressed with what BRP did to make the RT a true touring machine. Trying hard to not go get one...probably wait until next year at this time. If I do pull the trigger on a 14 RT Ltd I don't think I will farkel it as much as I did my 12.

Reviews are quite nice but I'll wait for the real critics which are the people who will shell out the bucks and ride this amazing ride.

Good coverage on the reviews. The one thing I picked up from the reviews was that in a drag race the 3 cyl and the v-twin are still about the same. The advantage of the new engine is more low end pull and better gas mileage due to low rpm requirement.

Which means the RS guys can be happy they still have the "quicker" bikes. ;)

How can you give a good review on a bike you have no miles on? None of these mean anything similar ones were put out for the '13 and we see how that has worked out. :yikes:

Wasn't it also these very same dealers who so wholeheartedly embraced the 2013 RT lineup?

Carl

That was definately the case last year. The pre introduction talk was pretty intense. I am hoping for a totally different outcome this year. :bbq:
