I showed my wife this and she told me that we should make plans to go. It 5 months away and she knows that I want to go home bad. Relocated New Yorker. I guess I will wait and see what It looks like when It get closer.

Same story for us, gjco. My wife and I each grew up through our early teens watching the towers get built, my father inspected them in the early days of construction. My wife and I met working in Queens and could see them every day on the drive home.

We knew young firefighters killed in the line of duty at the towers that day, and still feel a tug back to NY every September, if just to pay our respects.

It would be a good gathering.
