• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryker 900 CVT Drive Belt Replacement - Any Preference in Manufacturers?

One part No. for the Ryker belt is the same as one used on the 200 hp Side by Side. If it is, I can't see a problem using an OEM belt.

Deer collision - safer on a Spyder? Thoughts? Or first-hand accounts?

Lots of deer around here. I think if you hit one on a Spyder or Ryker there is a good chance it is going to land in your lap. A girl I worked with hit one and totaled her Crown Vic. Moose are ten times bigger and have long legs. Hit one with your car and he is coming in to visit you. Right now...

    Random thought for the day

I am borderline diabetic, so I go for blood workups every few months. The Doc kept getting concerned because it kept spiking. I said to them, do you think it might have something to do with the fact that you send me right after Christmas and New years. They now send me at a later date. LOL

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

Here if it has two or three wheels it is a motorcycle Four wheels it is classed as a car. There used to be a lot of VW home made trikes around here. Insurance companies will not cover new builds. Older ones are Grandfathered in.

Anyone out there balance your own Ryker wheels? If so, how?

I use Counteract balance beads on two and three wheelers. Never a problem in either. http://counteractbalancing.com/products/counteract-for-motorcycles/

    Polaris sells Indian Motorcycle

Probably didn't help profits when the AMA changed the rules for flat track bikes. Suddenly Polaris didn't have a market for their $50,000 race bikes. Hope they shift some production from another plant to Spirit Lake.

Be careful of advice... Never Grease your Sway Bar bushings!

I think I worked with that guy. He might have been my boss.

I guess I'm just not a Twisties guy!

Most of my riding is like that. I will never be a Dragon Slayer on the Ryker. Was on my first group ride on the Ryker a few weeks ago and everyone was well behaved and really enjoyed myself. Been on others when I had two wheels, some were good and others were a rubber band. Open up and snap...

    2025 Motorcycle of the Year

Ok, we have to remember this is for "NEW" bikes. I haven't really seen anything new from any of the motorcycle companies, just a rehash of what they have. Other than the Canyon, what is new from BRP? Just my 2c.

Will the Ryker drive train clunk reduce after break-in is complete?

I going have agree to disagree with you. Yes the Ryker is always in gear, but the clutch does not engage until 1800 RPM. The bike idles at 850RPM. I am not talking a big twist of the throttle. Just gentle blip (about 1100 to 1400 RPM) and then roll it on. I have been doing this for a while, and...

Will the Ryker drive train clunk reduce after break-in is complete?

A friend told me little blip of the throttle before taking off works. Tried it and it does make difference. Just my 2c's Bruce
