• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Towed twice in the first 1000 miles ! I wouldn't be yelling at the dealer, but I would be raising bloody hell with BRP. They have three options. Replace the bike. Money back. Or talk to my lawyer. Of course I have a short fuse, takes a bit to get it lit, but then stand back.

    Whittiford, what model Ryker do have? Some come with the Max- mount, some don't. Makes it easier to mount things, like passenger seat and luggage. You planning long or shot trips, solo or passenger.

    The left one is all stock parts. If you look at a Can-Am parts manual, it shows how it bolts together. Not hard to do, if I can figure it out anyone can.:D If you want a right side one too, you change to a right side footpeg ( needs some grinding to fit) all the other parts are the same. Raven\Bruce

    Maybe you should look at the post by @BGetz about his uncle's crash? You might rethink things. Humidity gets to me, makes it hard to breath. Years ago I was at some desert races in July and was ok. To be honest though, I not sure how I would do now.

    Weather is cooler here, but the wildfire smoke is awful. Sky is grey and all you smell is smoke. Yesterday, Toronto (80 miles East of us) had the worst air quality in the world. No riding for a while.:confused:
