There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You go McGyver! Looks like some industrial air tanks on the pallet behind the generator... and I see a boat on a trailer in the background... is that the "skinny water" boat you mentioned?

That is not air tanks, it was fuel tanks for the sawmill I used to have. Got too old and crippled up to ramp logs and throw green 2x10s around, so I sold the mill. Washed the tanks out and use them to put diesel in when I have a big job going with the tractor now. I sold the glass, skinny water tunnel hull. That boat sitting on the trailer is an old flat bottom Tracker. It will float in about 2 inches of water, but the prow is not designed for rough water and I wouldn't take it out on the salt flats. A little wind comes up and it would sink trying to get back in the canals.
I need to go buy a lottery ticket. I kept an old cell phone that was not connected to the web out in the shop to take pictures of things I took apart, so if I had to wait 6 months to get the parts to fix it, I wouldn't forget how it went back together. Had not used the the old phone in a good while, so I brought it in the house to put on the charger and top off the battery. When I flipped the case open something was sticking in one of the slots inside the cover. I pulled it out and it was 2 new twenty dollar bills. I guess somebody stole my ragged old smart phone and when they saw how old and scratched up it was, they felt sorry for me so they stuck $40 inside the cover and brought it back.

Agree. However, unfortunately my understanding is why lawyers learn & use what is said, it can be harmful!
(The pen is mightier than the sword, possibly applies; as well as: Matthew 7:12, which states: "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, Another similar verse is Luke 6:31, which says: "Do to others as you would have them do to you." These verses are often referred to as the Golden Rule - Biblical philosophy, if you will.)

First consider that there are almost always two lawyers in every case before a court and they are representing opposite sides. That simple fact does not say much for the ethics of lawyers in general.
Lawyers and even the entire legal system now in place, has little resemblance to what is wrong or right in the eyes of most law abiding people. Comparing Lawyers or even judges to following of the golden rule is like comparing apples to oranges. The governments and the laws of most countries in the world are not theocracies, and you should be very glad they are not. A person can attempt to strictly follow the laws of the country they live in, and still never even come close to following whatever religious teachings they claim to hold sacred. The laws of any particular nation may or may not be based on the teachings of a particular religion, and even the teachings of any particular religion are opposed to what many other religions profess to follow. The truth is not in the law, nor is it the practices of a particular organized religion.
The best you can hope for is to follow the golden rule with all lawyers and religions. You leave them alone and maybe they will leave you alone. Religion and politics are dangerous topics to discuss on public forums and should be avoided whenever possible. I will not take a side in this other than to say that no one, not me or anyone else, can ever be completely sure they even know the truth. Truth is often a very gray subject.
