High today of 56°F with clouds.
Low at 37°F and cloudy.

Here in the desert, currently; 77 degrees, humidity at 23%, wind calm, no clouds. The high today will be 85 and the overnight low will be 58. Tomorrow is expected to be a little cooler with some clouds moving in. By Sunday we should see a good amount of rainfall. Stay safe..... Jim

Welcome to the WEEKEND. I can not believe that we are having some 70°F days in Indiana. Yesterday was a beautiful 71°F day with sunshine. Today is going to be about the same.

Currently we have overcast sky at 60°F. Yes, I would love to go for a Spyder Ryde. But my Spyder is sleeping in the storage barn. To much hassle for one day. I will try and behave. I'm planning on getting my wife's car and my truck washed today.

High today of 70°F with some clouds.
Low at 38°F. That is what they are saying.

Sunday's high of 50°F with sunshine.
Low at 27°F. Doesn't look very promising. Oh, well this is Fall.

Have a Safe Weekend and Stay Healthy. Life is good for me.

Well here in Vermont, here we go with the weather. They have issued a First Weather Alert day in effect for Tonight and all of Sunday, due to a messy storm impacting the State. A mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain is moving into the region, first into New York and then spreading Eastward. A little snow and sleet are expected, but freezing rain is likely in areas like the Adirondacks and East of the Green Mountains. For the Champlain Valley, any mix will quickly change to rain. Rain will continue overnight, but freezing rain will continue East of the Green Mountains, with up to two tenths (2/10ths) an inch of ice... plenty enough to make the roads hazardous. The messy mix will wrap up early Sunday morning, then change to snow showers.

The focus for Sunday will be persistent snow showers, mainly for the mountains. It will be blustery with temps falling below freezing in all locations. Though a flash freeze isn't expected, patchy black ice can't be ruled out. Otherwise , roads will remain slippery in the higher elevations due to the snow showers. The valleys will be quieter, and some areas remaining dry. The snow showers will continue overnight.

Monday will remain active with additional snow showers, mainly in the mountains. The morning commute should be OK in the valleys, but it could be deceiving as you may quickly encounter snow showers should you travel into higher elevations. Total snow accumulation will be elevation-dependent, with a trace to maybe an inch in the valleys, to 3 or more inches in the mountains. The highest amounts will be in the Adirondacks and the Northern Green Mountains, with 4" to 8" possible. Isolated amounts of up to a foot can't be ruled out at the summits. The snow showers will taper off during the evening.

The rest of week will be much quieter, with a break from the really active weather. Some flurries are expected on Tuesday, but no impacts are expected. Wednesday and Thursday will be partly sunny. Temps will remain rather chilly, with highs in the 30's and lows in the 20's. A weak system could bring some showers and mountain snow showers on Friday.

The current temp is 32 degrees and partly cloudy.

Everyone stay safe, and healthy!

Here in my part of South Oz today, we've got temps in the high single digits to mid teens °C, lotsa clouds, mostly drizzle with some heavier rain showers thrown in (not that we should be complaining, cos all the reservoirs & dams, tanks, etc are very low), and it's fairly windy with a bit of a chilly cutting edge to it (apparently it's blowing straight of the Antarctic ice-pack - and there's not too much in the way to take the edge off!) 😏

Right now, at about 11:00 in the am, the outside temp is 12° C but falling fairly quickly, despite the odd/infrequent patch of sunlight breaking thru as the clouds scud over; and the drizzle just doesn't stop regardless... We're supposedly well into Spring, and it'll be Summertime here in a fortnight, but the weather clearly didn't get the memo!!

Monday morning weather news from Indiana. The past two days were very enjoyable temperatures (70°F). Moving forward to today and this week cold temperatures are coming.

Hopefully everyone will make good decisions about getting out in their weather conditions. Ice, snow and rain
can be a real problem at times. Just saying about the weather and driving conditions.

High today of 53°F with some sun.
Low at 39°F. Currently we have mostly clear sky at 31°F. No snow here.

Enjoy your Day and Stay Healthy.
Life is good for me.

Rain and cold weather coming to the desert for the next few days. Currently; 68°, mostly sunny with some cloud cover, very light breeze, and humidity at 47%. The high today will be 72°. Rain will begin overnight and last, on and off, for the next few days. Temperatures this week will barely get to 60° after today. Time to change the furnace filter and get ready to fire up that gas monster. The energy (and money burning) monster does double duty, heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. Its filter gets changed every time we go from one use to the other. It's a very old monster. I talked to a service technician about it a couple years ago. Asked what I should be doing to make sure it's doing its best. His advice... Don't fiddle with it. Old but built better than the new stuff. Just keep changing the filter. So far, so good. Stay safe..... Jim

Yesterday's weather was the pits. Off and on all day rain. Got about half of an inch at the house. Still short on rain here. But because of the cooler temperatures we are doing well. Just because everything is so dry we are having fire bans.
Got several people who are still burning leaves. Major Health issues!!!

They say some people don't do the 'Right Things'. Just saying about that problem. Air pollution effects all of us.

Wednesday and halfway through the week. Maybe take it easy today, due to yesterday's rain. Cleaning up the wet leaves is a bit to much for me.

Currently cloudy sky at 41°F.
No rain here today, maybe tomorrow evening. To warm for snow.

Today's high will be only 48°F with clouds.
Low at 41°F and cloudy.

Stay Warm and Dry.
Enjoy your Ryde Time.
Remember those who are having some difficult time with Life. Find something to be Thankful for Today.
November is the month of Thanksgiving.

May God Bless You and keep you Safe 🙏

Till Next Time. (y)

Very wet and cold (for us) here in the desert. Currently; cloudy, 63 degrees, light breeze, humidity at 75%. We are between thunderstorms right now. Woke up this morning to very heavy rain and LOUD thunder. That's expected to return later this afternoon. The forecast shows we'll have rainy and cool weather for the rest of the week and through the weekend. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 60's, with overnight lows in the low 50's. I switched the heat on for the utility monster this morning. It fired right up without objection. :p Stay safe..... Jim

Here in Vermont the current temp is 28 degrees. Last night, Saranac Lake, New York was the coldest place in the lower 48 with a low temp of just 11 degrees! And that could be the case again tonight! Over the next few days, temps will continue to fluctuate into and out of the 30's and 40's for highs. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with calm winds. Lows temps will be in the low to mid 20's near the lake, and in teens elsewhere. Temps in those cold pools like Saranac Lake, New York could likely drop back into single digits.

Thursday will see mostly sunny skies, which will help those colder temps to feel somewhat tolerable. Winds will be light and variable, with highs in the 30's.

Friday morning, temps will be in the upper 20's and low 30's. With those cold temps, a few sleet/snow showers are possible in the morning, and then just a chance for showers in the afternoon and evening. High temps will reach into the low to mid 40's. Those shower chances will be more prominent in the afternoon and evening. Winds could gust up to 20mph at times.

Saturday morning temps will be in the low 30's. Conditions will be partly sunny, with just a slight chance of rain and mountain snow showers.

Sunday will be partly sunny, with a chance of mountain snow showers, especially in the Northern parts of Vermont, and in the NorthEast Kingdom. Morning temps in the mid to upper 20's and warming up to the upper 30's and low 40's.

Next week (Thanksgiving Week) is looking to be mild by mid to late November standards. Mornings in the low 30's and highs into the 40's. Temps in the higher elevations will be about 10° colder. Chances of precipitation look possible for Tuesday, with a chance of valley rain showers and mountain snow showers.

Everyone stay safe and healthy
Spend time with your family and your loved ones whenever you can.

Happy Holidays to everyone!

One week till Thanksgiving here in the USA, just in case you wanted to plan ahead. We purchased our turkey last week. We get together with friends and family. So Thankful that most of us are still here.

Currently cloudy sky at 40°F. Yesterdays
rain showers were good for us. It helped us out with being short on water in the ground. Well, you know what I mean.

High today of 50°F with clouds.
Low at 44°F and cloudy.

Have yourself a good day and maybe a little Spyder Ryde Time.
Stay Healthy and Be Warm.

57° and cloudy here in the desert. The high today will be 62° with an overnight low of 51°. Humidity is 83% and the breeze is steady at 2 MPH. The high humidity is keeping everything wet in spite of no rain for the last few hours. The weather for the last few days has been remarkably similar to what I experienced in Western Washington where I lived prior to retirement. Gray and wet... Stay safe... Jim

Just watching the local weather report, learned places in the valley have received 3+ inches of rain in the last 2 days. Snow Bowl ski resort at Flagstaff just opened for the season. 37 inches of snow in the last 2 days. I used to be a pretty avid skier, skiing 3-4 times a week when I was (much) younger. I was surprised when the news report said a daily pass for Snow Bowl is $130 to $150. I really preferred night skiing. It was much less crowded and inexpensive. I think that ticket was about $200 for a season and good from 6PM until close at 10PM on week nights. It took me about an hour to drive to the slopes. My schedule - Wake up, go to work. After work, drive to the slopes, ski, ski, ski. Drive home, go to bed. Repeat...

Well, over here in the North East, in Vermont, we had some potential slick spots on the roads this morning during the commute as a result of freezing fog in the Champlain and St Lawrence Valleys. A freezing fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service due to the potential for fog to freeze on the roadways resulting in black ice. The fog did lift this later morning.

The rest of the today was sunny and cloudy. Today's temps were in the upper 30's and lower 40's.

Also, clouds will be moving in later tonight. The cloud cover does help to keep us a bit warmer, meaning temps by tomorrow morning will be in the upper 20's and low 30's. The clouds are firmly in place to start Friday, and they will give way to a few rain showers by early Friday afternoon.

The bulk of the rain will be across the Northern half of the region, especially right along the Canadian Border. This is mainly a rain event, as highs will be in the upper 30's and low to mid 40's. But there could be some mixing in the higher elevations and in the Northeast Kingdom.

By Saturday morning we will be dry again, but holding onto the clouds through the early morning. We'll begin to see some breaks of sunshine late morning and by Saturday afternoon we'll have a good amount of sunshine again!

But again, the sun won't last long. Clouds will be increasing through Sunday and an isolated rain shower or two is possible late in the day. But the better chance for showers will be on Monday.

Now for the weather for next week; they are keeping an eye on Wednesday (which is a big travel day) and it looks like some wet weather could impact travel. They are tracking potential for some rain/mix during the day, but it looks like we will dry out in time for Thanksgiving.

The current temp is 30 degrees and clear.

Finally Friday here in Indiana. Currently cloudy sky and very foggy outside the house. Well folks, the trees are finally bare at my place. Maybe I'll get them done by tomorrow.

Today's high of 49°F with clouds.
It sounds good by the way.
Low at 39°F with some afternoon rain showers. No big deal for us.

Have a Blessed Day and enjoy a Spyder Ryde Time for me.
Till Next Time. (y)

Good Morning and Welcome to the WEEKEND. Currently we have mostly clear sky at 40°F. Suppose to be a sunny day here. Maybe go flying with a friend.

Today's numbers are looking good for now. High of 48°F with sunshine.
Low at 37°F and a few clouds.

Sunday's high is 55°F with sunshine.
Low at 31°F and clear.
No rain here this weekend.

Have a wonderful day and stay Healthy for the holidays.

Mostly cloudy with lots of blue patches here in the desert. Currently: 68°, breeze at 4 MPH, humidity at 50%. The high today will be 71° and the overnight low will be 54°. We have another storm moving in this evening. Rain is expected at just about sundown and continuing through tomorrow. I have big plans for tomorrow. These plans include a big pot of hot chocolate (with a little peppermint schnapps), firing up the electric fireplace, and a TV full of football. Stay safe..... Jim

Currently here in Vermont, we have light snow showers. A week clipper system is bringing patchy high snow today, which started this morning, and as the day progresses, it mixed with rain in the valleys. A trace to an inch is possible this evening, especially in the mountains and in New York. Highs today were in the 30's. The snow will transition to mountain snow showers overnight and that is when the brunt of the snow will fall. The snow showers will start tapering off Monday morning, though some roads will be slippery near the Green Mountains. Total snow accumulation will be a trace to 3 inches, with the least in the valleys and most on the summits of the Adirondacks and the Northern Green Mountains. Monday afternoon will be mostly cloudy with highs in the 30's to near 40's.

The rest of the week will be quite active, though no big storms are expected and any travel concerns will be minimal. Tuesday will remain cloudy, with light rain likely by that afternoon, possibly starting off very briefly as a mix. The light rain will continue overnight, then move out on Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon will be mostly cloudy with highs in the 40's... good for any travel plans.

The next chance of rain will be Wednesday, continuing into Thanksgiving morning. The rest of Thanksgiving looks blustery with valley and mountain snow showers.

Friday will continue to be blustery with snow showers, mainly in the mountains. A few inches of accumulation cannot be ruled out, along with some slick roads, but widespread impacts are not expected. Saturday will have a bit more sunshine, though there's a chance of some flurries. High temps will remain on the chilly side, mainly in the low to mid 30's. Lows will be mainly be in the 20's.

The current temp is 3 degrees, and it's lightly snowing.

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Deanna
