This is Definitely December here in Indiana. I have a little snow on my yard (inch and a half). The current temperature is 19°F with the wind chill, it feels like 13°F.
Calling for another inch later today. The Black Ice is still a big problem for our road.

High today only 32°F and cloudy.
Low at 24°F and some clouds.
Remember to check on friends and family.

Stay Healthy and Enjoy your Day.

Christmas is only 24 Days away.

OMG! I woke up this morning and found out it's December already!!! Bright sunny day here in the desert. The high will be 70 degrees and the overnight low will be 46°. We have a very gentle breeze of 2 MPH and a humidity of 55% and falling. My ongoing project of fixing a minor leak in the under-sink R.O. system is on to its 3rd day now. I have (at least) one more trip to the hardware store. Gotta take back the parts that didn't work and replace another that I broke while trying to install it. Such is life..... Stay safe..... Jim

Please keep your Snow pictures coming. I love looking at Snow in pictures
only. Just me getting old and the fear of falling.

Currently overcast sky at 18°F and over 3 inches of snow on my lawn.
I have ice under the snow on my driveway. Just trying to stay indoors and relax
during this week ahead. The wife and I planned ahead for this snow.
As long as the electricity stays on we will be thankful.

High today of 27°F with clouds.
Low at 16°F and cloudy.
This is that 'bone-chill' temperature
I have been talking about.

Remember to dress warm and stay dry.
Christmas is still coming.

Winter Wonder Land is here in Indiana. The fresh snow makes everything look very beautiful and bright. Then they salt the roads and cars makes the world dirty again. Just the way we live.

Currently cloudy sky at 18°F with a wind chill at 8°F. No outside chores today. I really can't handle the cold air.
It is a major Health issue now.

High today of 29°F with mostly clouds.
Low at 17°F and cloudy.
Possible chance of evening snow showers. (36%)

Be careful dealing with the snow.
Everything is good for now.
I feel like watching a Christmas Movie.
There are so many different 'One's' to enjoy.

Remember to check on friends and family. Have yourself a Blessed Day.

Snow picture from Indiana.

Well, I still have a learning process for my Smartphone. Oh well, I finally got a snow picture for everyone to enjoy.

And..... Now I see where your yard leaf work originates. You're way ahead of me using your smart phone. I've given up trying to post pictures..... several times.

Partly sunny/partly cloudy here in the desert. High today will be 64 and the overnight low will be 44 degrees. There is a 3 MPH breeze. Humidity is 55%. No precipitation in the forecast. I added an extra blanket last night and was glad I did. It does get cool at night in the desert. Winter time frost is not unusual. Remembering back to my golf-playing days there were many times we had morning frost delays to start our game. Now I just sleep in and do not worry about it. Stay safe..... Jim

Here in Oz, we've had a pretty interesting start to Summer. Some parts of the Country have seen sub-zero °C temps with a light blanket of snow down to about 1600m, maybe as much as 10-15cm/4-6" on the higher peaks (we don't have too much in the way of 'higher peaks' tho! 😉) while other parts of the Country are pushing temps in the mid 40's °C and the Summer bushfires have already started! 😲

In my little part of the Adelaide Hills in South Oz, the forecast yesterday, coming off days of fairly cool temps & damp, rainy weather, was finally looking like it was getting warmer, expected to head into the mid/high 20's °C with no rain; but instead, we scored a minimum temp of about 7°C, a max of about 22°C, and mostly sunny all day after starting out with a 0.4mm drizzle of rain just to remind us how wet it has been! And today, we're expecting mid 30's °C; strong, gusty winds; no clouds or rain; and Extreme Fire Danger - all just to lull us into the (false! 😣) expectation that Summer might finally be here, before we cop another a cool and rainy weekend followed by a week of clouds & drizzle with max temps back in the mid 20's with the rain settling back in for the following weekend!!

It's only just after 08:00 here, the temp has already hit 25°C, and the gusty wind is blowing stuff all over the place! The small flocks of Honey Eaters & tiny Blue Wrens that shelter in my native garden out front have already hit the bird bath after a busy early morning feeding frenzy, and they've now all retreated back into the depths of the denser bushes to avoid being blown away; while the nearby wetlands have gone eerily quiet! So I'll take the hint and make sure everything that might be blown around in my yard is either put away or battened down, but I'm not too sure that I won't get a visit from next doors' trampoline (again!) if the wind gusts from that direction... The family there haven't been up here in SA, let alone in the Hills for too long yet, so they haven't worked out that when the forecast here is for 'gusty winds', that often means anything not nailed down in your yard might just go visiting the neighbours! :sneaky:

Here in Vermont we had a snow storm. The Southern part of Vermont got the brunt of it, they got about 8-to 12 inches of snow. In the Northern part of the State, we got about 5 inches.

The current temp is 25 degrees. The temps overnight were in the 20's and 30's.
Then for Thursday, they are tracking a cold front that will likely bring snow showers and possible snow squalls to the area. We'll begin to see snow overnight tonight and on into tomorrow morning through and into Northern New York. The timing of the snow is unfortunate for the Champlain Valley; it looks like snow showers and possible snow squalls will arrive during tomorrow mornings commute.

Snow squalls can cause snow to accumulate on the roads quickly and create whiteout conditions. Conditions can also change quickly as the snow squalls move through.

The snow showers and possible squalls will likely continue making their way SouthEast and could be reaching the Southern Vermont area by mid morning. Then we'll continue to see some snow showers lingering on and off into the afternoon.

After that passes thru, an Arctic air mass will move in behind the cold front tomorrow. Temps will drop throughout the day tomorrow as cold air moves in. We'll be starting in the upper 20's and low 30's tomorrow morning and dropping into the low 20's and terns by late afternoon. It's going to be breezy with a NorthWesterly wind gusting up to 34 mph at times, which is going to to make it feel much colder.

The wind chill values tomorrow afternoon and evening could take the 'feels like' temps as low as 15 to 20 degrees below zero (this is the first Arctic cold air mass of the season!) And that's not the end of the cold. Friday's highs will be in the teens and low 20's. Then we will be warming back up to reach into the upper 20's and low 30's for the weekend, but by early next week, the highs will be back in the teens and low 20's for Monday (HERE WE GO!!!)

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Stay Healthy and safe!

Well, this cold spell is here to stay. Outlook for the next 10 days is not looking very good.
Saying that, the highs are not above freezing (32°F).
I still have 2" - 3" of snow on my lawn. My driveway is doable now. Got out to the store.
The wife said she might make some Christmas cookies. Always a good thing.

Currently overcast sky at 25°F and feel like 16°F. No snow in my local area weather forecast.
You guys that are scheduled for this nasty weekend Weather be Safe.
Definitely get some extra supplies for your 'Grand Adventure'.

Today's numbers are not looking very good for me.
High of 27°F and cloudy sky.
Low at 9°F. Yes, 9°F. Definitely going to be a 'bone cold' spell.
Stay Warm and Healthy. Check on your family and friends.

Seasons Greetings from Indiana. (y)

I have something like 60 trees on my 1.4 acres. And when the leaves start
falling it's not going away. Several years ago I just left the leaves. It almost
killed my whole yard. Looks good when I get 'errr done'.
Might have to move and let someone else have all the fun. (y)

In the forest at 5800 feet. 100-foot-tall pine trees with lots and lots of pine needles ( and cones). Bags and bags not including the half acre back yard. Just bags and bags of pine needles. No grass, Just bags and bags of pine needles...........
