There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hit 55 after lunch today so rode 73mi up to Saint Francis & back with the wife. Had snow fall Friday night... Some rain forecast for this coming week - hope we're done with the snow for the year tho.

CAN-AM added the ability to connect to a Wifi network in 2024.
I've updated my 2024 Spyder RT a couple of times using my home Wifi network.
To get updates for your 2023 you'll need to visit someone who has a BUDS license, like a CAN-AM dealer.

Made our first long ride of the season.
Went from the Raleigh area down to Atlantic Beach. Then we continued down 50 until we got to Emerald Island and made a back road treck back to Kinston before hopping on 70 for the ride home. Of course, we had to stop at McCall's for some good old fashion cooking before heading home. Total of 325 miles round trip with perfect weather and great company. I was really glad that we did this instead of the mountain ride. When I got home with 325 miles, I would have hated to have another 150-175 to go. For a first long ride of the season, 500 is a bit too much, especially when you are loosing an hour of sleep that night due to a time change.

I put the last pieces together today on my adapter to lift the RT way up via the Pitbull lift.

I used 2" x 3" x 36" x 1/4" tube for the main rail and 1-1/2 x 1/2" bar for 2 cross pieces and 1/2" round for the third cross piece.
Here's what the adapter actually looks like. I'm not going to paint it as I see no need...
I'm going to build 3 more 2x4 cribs that should keep the bottom of the wheels almost 16" off the floor.
This should help me when doing future maintenance.
