So I had some business to conduct at a county government office, so had to go into the center of town. I live a couple of miles North of town, and really avoid the center of town when possible.
So I go take care of business, which after waiting for 30 minutes find out I don't have everything I need, and will have to come back another time.
Then I stopped and got some breakfast and on the way home saw several interesting vehicles.
First was a pair of Goldwing trikes coming out of the parking log of a local business, one white and one a copper or bronze color.
Then nearer to home, where the road is a narrow, one lane in each direction, twisting through the country I see something about 3 cars ahead of me that catches my eye.
When I first saw it and heard it, I thought was it VW fiberglass body "dune buggy" like a Manx or something similar. Then the road bent a little and realized there was no body, and I could see a heavy tubular frame along the side. So more like what I'd call a "sand rail", but it had tail lights, and a license plate, so something that was street legal. I never was able to get close enough to see exactly what it was, but from the sound and the couple of glimpses I got of the rear end it was definitely something powered by a VW air cooled engine.
