• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HowTo: Install a BajaRon Swaybar on a 2013+ Spyder ST/RS/RSS

Got my Sway bar installed today - What a difference! So much more stable in the corners and just generally tracks nicer. The instructions with the sway bar from Lamonster Garage are very complete but also pretty technical.. so I put together a video that walks you through step by step.

I know this is an old thread. Can a bushing be replaced without removing the sway bar on a 2013 and are the bushings in a Bajaron kit the same as stock bushings? 🤔 Perhaps a question for Ron.

No, the bushings are different sizes, the Bajarons have a larger hole. As far as being able to pull one, it may be tight but maybe you can work it out there. Taking the bar out would not really be that big a deal. What's up with what you got going on, is it making noise?

As Mikey states, the bushings are different. Though we've never had a bushing wear out (unless you grease them). They can be replaced without removing the bar. People replace them because they develop a clunk. But this is because the bushing bolt is not tightened sufficiently. If the bushing is replaced with the same bolt tension, it will begin to clunk after a few hundred miles as well.

Yes, I have a clunk. Was thinking the bushing on one side has gone bad..
I haven’t dug into it yet, but I will see if it’s the tension on the bolt.
Thanks for the great info 👍🏼

The slit in the bushing needs to be completely closed below the bar. If there is any gap at all, this will create a clunk after a few hundred miles. The material we use is self lubricating and quite bullet proof. They should last the life of the bike.

Red Arrows indicate Bushing Bolt & Proper Slit Compression.
