• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear tire options - any suggestions?

Loosing 1-2 % is not going to be noticed. I have a hard time understanding people that pay a Can Am dealer every 10K to put on a new Kenda rear tire. Even my main riding buddy does that. The first one I did myself paid for the wrenches, including a BIG torque wrench. I have done three on my...

Rear tire options - any suggestions?

I will repeat again, I have installed 2 General Altimax RT45 and 1 RT43 215/60R15's on three of my 2018's Spyder RTLs and one RT45 on an in-laws 2014 Spyder, with no issues other than the Spyder handles better that and the tire will last at least 3 times longer than the Kenda product.

Dealer has offered me a deal to upgrade - To buy or not??

weeneil said: That is not too much of a loss on what you paid for the 2023 in 3 years. So you give him your trade in, that is really not even broken in at 12.6K miles, and £7K for a new one. So are we saying the new one is £4K more than you paid for the 2023?

    Spyder Sightings

Heading South on 177 from Superior, AZ at the Ray Mine area an Orange RT was going North. After Lunch I passed a bike and a Ryker heading North South of Kearny. I was doing the 145 mile Winkelman loop ride. Trike killed a lot of bugs today!

Question for experienced Spyder owners - New F3 vs Used?

2018 and 2019 RT's are two year change that was very similar except of the wheels and colors available. Both have the full digital display which carried over for a few years of the 2020+ RTs, which I like better than the earlier one, which was what my in-law had on his 2014 RT, so I have a bit...

Question for experienced Spyder owners - New F3 vs Used?

I have bought three used 2018 RTL, all with low miles. First one in fall on 2020, second Jan 2024, and third one Nov 2025. First one was sold last year after putting about 20K miles on it. All got fresh car tires right away, and HD sway bars, LED head and rear turn signal blubs. All got the...

Cannot get firmware to update using BUDS3 - any help or suggestions appreciated?!

When they had trouble updating the display on my 2018 Spyder, they finally found that the cable for early years was not a standard USB. Their BMW tech said try my cable. It appears the earlier cables are rolled or something. So try just a modern, off the shelf, USB cable.

Going Down Memory Lane; Show Us Your First Motorbikes & Your Current Spyder

I had one of those and a later 110 model. They had the worst front fork angle, that made them handle different than a normal motorcycle. Fail to make a hill and they free wheeled backwards down the hill, so one had to lay it down right away if you did not make a hill. Other than that they were...

What can I do to get a straight shot at the Rear Tire valve Stem?

I don't. Two separate airing situations. The Ryobi has a standard little lever you push down/over to lock onto the valve stem. Very easy on the front wheels. On the rear, I use one hand to push it onto the valve stem and the other to operate the lever. The Ryobi pump has it's own pressure gauge...
