• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    When I have to fill up my car with gas I carry along and fill my 5-1/2 gallon gas can to bring home to fully top off the Spyders. It’s a lot less hassle especially when I’m filling two for a long ride.

    Most of us use the Gates 91132 Krikit II Drive Belt Tension Gauge from the forum sponsor Baja Ron. It’s much less of a hassle, faster and accurate enough. I don’t know of any automotive or motorcycle technician who measures belt tension with electronic equipment. What is your background?

    You have to be really careful in consideration of an aftermarket warranty. Servicing dealers are not required to honor them. I have been disappointed by a few local BRP dealers Service Department Managers. Do your research before buying.

    Tire pressure no matter how it’s measured by digital gauge or TPMS will seldom match. If you are within a couple of tenths of 1PSI you are good to go. Tire pressure equalization is stretching it. This is a motorcycle and not a Space Shuttle.
