• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Givi mounts

Lots of used E360's, E36 and E41's etc. for much less $$, and could also go to E21's for a smaller, (but top loading) option for less than $200. That would make the rack nearly 400 and the bags 200... what's wrong with THAT picture?!?!?:gaah:

    Givi mounts

Anybody hear /know of a Givi sidecase mounting system for standard Monokey cases (all except the V35's) other than Industries 7 (which seems to be about double the price of all other sources.) :dontknow:

    Gas Gauge

A couple months ago, my gauge started acting up... would drop from full to empty within 50 miles. Fill it up and only take 1 1/2 gal. I took it into a dealer and he pulled the instrument cluster to make sure all the contacts were clean and seated. Didn't seem to make a difference, but after a...

    Lost my best friend

Hang in there, the hurt will subside, but memories never disappear. And I really don't think that's a bad thing. Compassion is what makes us human. I had to put down my 14 y/o greyhound in April and still get kinda choked up whenever I walk by the gravesite in the back yard; or hear of...

    TEMP BARS

depending on speed, that's probably 'bout right. In 100+ (but it's a "dryheat" hee, hee) I fluctuate between 3-4 at 75mph, 4 moving around town, and up to 5 while sitting at a stop light, or in stop'n go crawling. Only hit six once, and that was while I had to sit through two or three changes...

Long way to Ft Stockton in 100 degree temps., but being a desert rat, you know what you are getting in to (not a bad ride if it was 60!) Might want to have a plan B for El Paso. I PM'd you if you have some time in Tucson. Enjoy the ryde! Jim

    The Director strikes again

Good job, Bruce... both on the write-up and the race! Whether you take on the challenge for health, as a result of mid-life crises, or for whatever reason, it doesn't matter, nothing but good things happen. I just returned from a 2200 mile road trip on my spyder (from Tucson to Steamboat...

    Fuel gage misreading

I have about 9000 trouble free miles so I can't really complain too much. :spyder: I have always filled the same way, and got the gauge reading full, so I'm confident it's not me! I suppose the tale-tell symptom is the low fuel light coming on and only being able to get 2.5 gallons in. I have...
