• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Some HD riders are IDIOTS!!

Having ridden all types of cycles over the last 30+ years(including sportsters), HD as a company contributes to this issue and their marketing will always have an adverse effect on the weaker minded. If you don't ride an HD you're UnAmerican, if you don't wear black leather and a beanie helmet...

    Some HD riders are IDIOTS!!

It's not about what you ride but about the fact that you are out there riding. There are morons everywhere that just will never get it, and you can't worry about them. From Vespa to Wide Glide, we are all out there enjoying the same thing, be courteous.

    Additional Heat Shielding?

I had the DEI Titanium wrap and thought it still kept too much heat trapped with the plastic shell. Ditched the wrap in favor of exhaust heat shield and am happy with the result. I went 1/2 inch thick, but the 1/4 thick\ may suffice...

    Parking in public...

Well, for one you were in Philly. Being born and bred there, I can tell you that you are dealing with collectively most disrespectful people I've encountered in my travels. Not much you can do save for parking in a secure garage.

    Question??? With all respect.

It's called variety. I ride cruiser, quads, off road 2 wheelers. A world of clones all driving Buicks would be hell on earth.

exhaust wrap OR spilt oil?!? HELP!!

all smoke I used the 2 inch titanium wrap and a good hour ride got rid of the smoking and smell. I was not real happy with the heat reduction though. I've since cut it off and replaced it with the half inch thick heat shield product. It's great and the outside foil layer can be wiped clean of...

Will skid plate support LEDs In looking at the skid plate, it seems to have enough space to mount the led lights in a housing. For those that have it installed, can you comment?

    Need some opinions

The choice between 1 and 2 is really based on what kind of riding you are doing. If long rides then pamper your butt with the seat. The HID is a no brainer. I got the kit from AandR for around $160 for my RS and it makes all the difference in the world, especially in deer country.

DPS Problem and my dealer has NO IDEA what to do!?!?!

Having read numerous threads like this, I am simply astounded that BRP is not more actively involved in getting these issues resolved. I don't remember even getting a post purchase customer satisfaction survey from BRP. Do they exist???

Cold air intake and Spyder RS heat

Have had cold air intake in some form on everything I want to perform for a while now,,,and fully expect to have to use a tuner since it will lean out. Trying to come up with the best option to use the 2 ports on the body that would normal house the fog lamps but want a clean look. Looking for...

    New Spyder next year.

Based on what I've read on this and other Spyder forums, I would not touch a new BRP product for at least 3 years. BRP needs to adopt some of the quality control methods from Yamaha.

Oil Change instruction from BRP including Torque information !

Glad I read this and noticed that the XPS oil is a semi-synthetic. Will be swapping out at first change to Royal Purple or Amsoil. Past experience has shown that both have helped the wet clutch.
