• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Very First Reverse Trike

My Dad was leading chief of his squadron (Fasron 117) so I used to ride/drive the scooter around the hangar and outside on the concrete pad. In 1952, there was no interstate in Hawaii. It was a US territory then and statehood was still in the future. Most of the roads were 2 lane and poorly...

    Very First Reverse Trike

I rode one of these at age 10 when we lived at Barbers Point-Oahu_Hawaii in 1952. They were used for parts shuttle at the Navy Base. I would go to my Dad's hangar after school and ride home with him.

    RT-S Tank Bag

I bought one of these thinking I could stick a small GPS inside the transparent window. NOPE. Window is so thick and only semi transparent that sitting on my RT, there is no way I could read the GPS. If it were transparent, there would only be room for a very small map. I keep sunglasses in...

    Circle Lake Superior Tour

We got the pass card this time. Cheaper and faster return. It's good for Canada, Mexico, and Carribean. With the world in its current state, we would not think of going anywhere else.

    Lost seat strut clip

I ordered 2 "Rotax" decals on the BRP site. They were shipped from a local dealer 25 miles from me. I was charged $4.75 shipping for 2 featherweight items. Postage was way less than $1 on the envelope.

To wave or not to wave, that is the question

After having a Honda Ruckus, Honda Silverwing Maxi scooter w/sidecar, and a '64 Vespa w/sidecar I figure I need to return the love.

    Radio problems

High tension lines radiate a lot of emf. Both my SUVs and my Spyder do the same thing. It is normal. There are some medical studies that seem to indicate persons living under these lines tend to have more serious medical problems.

To wave or not to wave, that is the question

I don't wave at anyone wearing a do-rag. I do wave at ALL scooters.

It's SNOWING again (and again and again and again)

MY first comment/conversation at a Restaurant

There is a guy with a Harley down the street from me. He usually parks it on the sidewalk kinda like it is on display. If he's outside or standing in his garage, he will give me the one fingered salute as I pass by. Last week, I watched him and a buddy trying to load the same bike into an...

    Rear shock

Mine bleeds down to nothing overnight. YES, I have checked the tightness of the valve core in the shrader valve. Tried to explain it to service manager at my dealer and got a blank stare. He told me I'd have to leave it overnight for a "few" days til they could get to it. Weather was so...

    Blew another rear shock

I should mention the pressure leaks away overnight and I have to air up again the next day. I'm dumping it at the dealer as soon as they are back in operation. Winter snow collapsed the roof of service area. Seems a bit slow rebuilding it.
