• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    QUIET BRAKES

Someone on the other - oh never mind - is touting this as a possible solution: I finally found something that works - CRC De-squeak (technician grade). http://www.crcind.com.au/catalogue.nsf/web...ak?openDocument Spray it - CAREFULLY - on the rotors. Available at AutoZone for $10.00 Mine...

Considering a new exhaust?...read this!! Aftermarket exhaust problem solved!!

In the "other forum" there are also a couple of threads on - generally - air/fuel and it was stated by someone with a lot of experience with the Rotax (in general) that disconnecting the power for 20+ minutes clears the "block learn" tables. I dunno I am only the piano player not the piano...

    ISCI

Since you spilled the beans and Darrell didn't...from an exchange I had with him today: Me: Darrell, What's going on with ISCI and Spyder stuff? Pete Him: Pete: They will be out very soon, as early as next week. We have pricing established and we are running that pricing by some experts in...

    Echaust System

If all you do is swap out the exaust can and nothing else then you will probably be okay. Good idea to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes so that the ECU can "forget" the old settings and start immediatley to 'relearn' the new exhaust. Best bang for the buck is largely a religious debate...

    ISCI where are they

Last I heard was over a week ago from an email asking about floorboard "style" preferences. Earlier in the week I emailed Darrell about an update - updated pics. Have not heard anything back. Last post was regarding hand brake and my sense was they might be dealing with the liability lawyers...

    Breather hose size...

I ended up using this: http://www.steeda.com/products/steeda_oil_separator.php from Steeda Autosports because I could not find the "air line" parts in Lowes or Home Dept and Steeda is local. The short breather line was wet when I removed it. I have not yet looked into the air box. I located...

    2-Bros juice Box & Ken's O2 Modifier

I posted "over there" that its connection into the O2 sensor harness is documented in the Spyder install guide. Not clear to me if it's part of the JB harness where the JB actually sees the O2 signals or a and alone harness plug-in which woudl be in effect an O2 modifier. Pete

    ISCI pics from Daytona

I've seen how the SM5 shifter arm connects to the splined shifter shaft on the other side.... Anyone got a pic of how the brake pedal arm connects (bolts?) to the rest of the brake parts under the covers? Lamonster must have some. Thanks, Pete

    ISCI pics from Daytona

Darrell emailed me - and many others. Apparently they are within a week for pricing and plan to - possibly - offer the floorbards with: 1) the new-and-improved spider (seen in anohter thread), 2) a more plain black stripes down the middle version, and 3) an extra cost custom logo feature instead...

    Breather hose size...

Perusing one of the Corvete forums - cause those guys put stuff like this on all the time - I found that there is a difference between a "breather can" and a "catch can". Who'd a thunk it. Anyway, wordsmithing aside the difference seems to be that both are catch cans whereas the breather can...

    Breather hose size...

Thanks. Not sure myself about the clamp. Looked like a pinch-type that might need a special tool. I like worm clamps. What did you take off from Evoluzione - or maybe these are take parts from putting somethign on? Pete

    Breather hose size...

Sorry for the wasted bandwidth, but I did not want to break the use-once clamp on the breather hose to get a measurement - and I don't expect you too either :D. What is the inside/outside diameter of that hose? I plan to rig up a catch can like many have. Thanks, Pete

    throttle position problem

Possible load of crappy gas? I guess that falls into the "could be anything" bucket. Try a fill up of (not required) of 92-93. That might eliminate one possibility when talking to the dealer. Pete

    Hit Bottom-----

Reminds me of something stoopid I did on a snowmobile during a company-department outing. Started at the top of a long hill with moderate slope racing my boss. We were wearing the head-to-toe safety "uniform". Too late as my eyes saw a hidden sharp rise at the bottom. The last thing I saw...
