• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    BRP (tire police)

Someone with knowledge should see if there is a BRP "Bulletin" pertaining to the use of car tires on the Spyders. We all just have to hear this from the horses mouth. However, I can see tire companies reluctance to sell as well. Even though they fit and people on here have been using them...

    3 - WHEELS COMPARISON

Polaris is really pushing the boundaries. My local dealer will have these and I will be test riding one. IMO, Anything with a steering wheel is not a bike. A steering wheel, passenger seat, an engine and transmission that size has entered car territory. In fact more like a three wheeled go...

    BRP Sat Radio ?

I have it in my car. It's almost insane that you can barter with them to get a great deal. They seem desperate for business. Because pricing always seems to go up, I was able to get a non advertised 5 year plan with internet radio for less than 400.00 by calling them. If you search sat radio...

    RT SmoothSpyder Belt Tensioner

I know some dealers are very mod friendly some are strictly by the book. With the thousands out there I wonder how many people read the disclaimer and/or took it to a mod friendly BRP dealer service department to have installed. I would like to see the document that Cedarmeadow states is out...

Awesome. Thanks for sharing it. I like a bunch of Shawns videos, this one is great!

    RT SmoothSpyder Belt Tensioner

Looking at this from the outside: That's a huge problem if it's been proven without a shadow of a doubt that the front and rear bearings and seals stressed and failed because of the tensioner. That would than be a definite voided warranty. That in itself would require some kind of product...

    RT SmoothSpyder Belt Tensioner

There is always two sides to the story and thank you for giving the second side. Most people who mod their toys usually know about the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act and it should be pretty clear when purchasing aftermarket items. If not, this is a good read that helps put things into easier...

    watching the news

I used to be one of those people. Back in the day it was a thrill to get a hot item first because it gave you bragging rights. Than you grow older and no longer care to be the first, it no longer matters as long as you get it. Now I just wait for the hype to go down and the bugs to be ironed...

CALL FROM DISCOUNT TIRE... Ref KUMHO ECSTA AST

It's starting to look like buying 1 tire at a time triggers red flags. Maybe a small group buy where someone buys 4 tires at a time for their TACOMA and start divvying it up with other members. But than again....Discount Tire and others are probably reading this thread already. :sour:

    2015

I can totally see where you are coming from but to me it seemed like the Bold Husky F3 front vs Smooth aerodynamic flowing rears were crashing and clashing right in the middle. The rears would have to be just as bold and husky to make it work. I do agree with what's been said...the more you...

CALL FROM DISCOUNT TIRE... Ref KUMHO ECSTA AST

Very interesting information on the sidewall strength. I would never have taken that into consideration. I would like to hear that information from the horses mouth. Hopefully it's not smoke and mirrors from BRP.....Can anyone find definitive info?

    2014 RT Technical Service Bulletins

Great question. I'm new to the forum and absorbing lots of info from a lot of prior posts and knowledgeable senior members. My target is the 2014 RT-S or RT-L but I decided to wait for additional information on the 2015 models that will be announced 9/23/14 Since I'm technically an outcast, I...

F3 pic you may not have seen

My local dealer mentioned the F3 being a completely new addition to their line-up. A Cruiser style Spyder geared toward the more rugged side. However, it's easy to speculate until the official introduction happens on 9/23/14
